Thank you guys for all the amazing compliments on my work, I have some new work to share today. I did a straight up repaint of the Ewok chair C3P0, not the best sculpt of 3P0 but I think the paint helped alot. I did cut out the space between the arms and the little rods that connect his arm joints but other than that not much work done. But now onto the real custom I want to show you guys, my Bomarr Monk! This was alot of fun to make, I always wanted the little brain bowl to have a light in it so thats just what I did. I set a small red LED into the top of the brain bowl and carefully sculpted over it to help hide it. I ran all the wires through the inside of the body by dremeling a little hole so I could feed them up into its (butt?) sack. Once I did that I cut the bottom off the butt and used a "watch" battery holder as the base which slips into the butt piece. There is a little switch that allows the LED to be turned off and on so I dont have to open up the figure to remove the battery. Well hope that makes sense if not I took a bunch of pics to help understand what the hell Im talking about.
