Vintage Cockpit Cover needed
« on: March 18, 2009, 09:48:51 AM »
Any chance anyone has a junked at-at lying around or an opening canopy for the head? I will take any potf2 or vintage one that is offered as long as its not highway robbery!

Shawn, would it be something that could be cast?  I could borrow you mine for that.

Chad I have a few of  my own, loose if you believe it, that could be cast, but Clint thinks the material alone would cost 30 bucks to do it. I didn't pay that much for the walker. I am guessing I am gonna have to find another junked walker that has this piece.

I will have to have the canopy. Not bad ideas Alex, but I love the head shape with the canopies intact.

She looks better than I thought she would. It could be scratchbuilt, of course.
It would be a moderate pain but not impossible.

Don't tell me that Clint. You know how I get hairbrained idears.

Well, I didn't want to mention it as I already know how much scratchbuilding you already have me penciled in for. I don't need to add wood to the fire, do I?

We shall see, buddy. Were we doing one custom walker or two? I was wondering if I needed to get that other gun?

I bought two with the tips as he had two Clint. I am gonna send both. LOL! Two?! Maybe we will see how one works as I don't want to commandiere too much of your time. This will be a back burner project for you though guy. I am not expecting it to be done for a long time. I want you to have fun with it.

I found one on the bay today. Cost more than the walker, but at least it will get me closer to having it complete. Just need chin guns and the bulb cover now.
