I like those! I'm interested in seeing many more yet!

No problem Jules, I'm glad that you like the emblem for your excellent custom squad
It is nothing beside your photoshop creations but it's fun to make them and I think there will be more
Irish Ninja

I know my symbols are pale in comparison to the outstanding work of Jules and Steve but is fun to make some symbols for my favorite Clone legions and units.
-
Sweet.
I must admit that since you've created this post I've been very keen on seeing names of the Imperial Forces...
Great post my friend!

Very AWESOME work FialaFernbrugg , I love the "real" Army feel that you gave to those insignias!
-
Viper Aviator, I knew you'd like what Fiala's creations

you know I am a great fan of insignia :)
the 172th will show up on the firestorm artwork of course.
-
Those insignias re awesome fiala!
-
Incredilbe work Fiala, I love the insignia for Jägerbataillon 18. What font did you use in the upper right corner for the number?
-
Great conversion of a real life logo...love the artwork!
-
thanks a lot VA, HB and AdW
I know my graphics are very amateurish but I try to be better.
The next graphic is the first that I made with GIMP. I tried to bring a light "wash effect" into the CAD (UG NX4) insignia.
I want to thank Viper Aviator for the 501st insignia link.
here is the CAD version of the 501st Austrian Outpost insignia
(http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5002/5377056037_8fe573d6ff.jpg)
and here is the original insignia from VA's link

-
looks pretty damn excellent!! I like this patch a lot.
so you did this as a commission for the Austrian Outpost? you may know that that have an anniversary this year??
I am in contact with them, too ;)
-
Hey FF, there is no need to think of yourself as an amateur, we all started somewhere and it is only by practising and creating that you will see improvement.
besides, these graphics of your are excellent!
-
thx for the compliment guys
und Stefan,
das war kein Auftrag der österr. 501st.

-
wow, cool looking insignia! like the colors and theme, though I would have showed the animals a little bit larger... but thats just my first feeling and I dont know if its really a good idea.
anyway, fantastic work, Christoph!!

Very good work! I like the Mynocks as the base element and the nice contrast to the symbol in the upper right. Also placing the Republic Roundell in repetition is a nice touch that brings balance to the work!
-
Fiala,
Great design, I too like the mynocs.
Are you using photoshop for your work?
-
thanks a lot gentlemen
Stefan: I agree. The Mynocks are too small.
VA: thanks for the comment
Jules: thanks. It is not Phototshop, I use the new UG NX 7 drawing programm
-
I love that mynock patch! I can just see the Imps converting a TIE Bomber into a long-range scout ship, loaded down with sensors in place of the weapons bays. I'm sure the pilots would end up calling them "mynocks."
-
two new insignia
Clone Flight Squad Seven (Squad Seven)
181st Imperial Fighter Wing
-
another WOW on both, the second of the 181st is my fave, i really like the attached banner writing at the bottom, thats pretty cool.
-
Awesome work Christoph! I agree the 181st is one of the best ever!
-
Excellent work FF!
-
Wow, I really like that second one, Christoph!
-
nice ones!
-
Bomb Squad insignia
You can use it for your custom CLONE ORDANCE SPECIALIST figures. Just scale it down, cut it out and glue it on the left shoulder of your figure.

Your work is very nice, but I would suggest that you use Aurebesh writing instead of English so as to make it as "in-Universe" as possible. Just my $.02 :)

thanks Spectre
I wish I could use the Aurebesh writing in the UG NX program but that's not possible
-
Ohh nice insignia fiala!
