I have never ridden in a chopper at all but I love em, when I was out at Edwards AFB, the army choppers were my favorite aircraft I worked around (I worked around a lot of different AC). I used to fly RC helis too!

i don't remember edwards air force base ? hey what year did you work there ? i was a co-pilot in a Boeing AH-64 Apache , we named her the marvelous jenny and then we got hit down . my son loves rc helis i've been hit in the head with one too many of those blasted things .

Edwards AFB is the test base for the Air Force, it's where almost every aircraft is tested before it goes into service. The B2, F15, 16, 18, F-22  and all new incarnations of them. Edwards is where the space shuttles used to land and where Chuck Yeager broke the sound barrier for the very first time. It's located in the Mojave Desert in S. California, the US Army had a hanger there where they tested various things on/with their helicopters. I was out there from 1991 to 1997.

lol, no worries. I loved seeing the AH-64 longbow we had flying around, I saw them do the conversion on it when the longbow was new. I actually got to sit in the gunners seat once just for fun.
