Title: ThrawnFan01's Customs
Post by: ThrawnFan01 on April 17, 2014, 06:20:30 PM
Hey guys! I'm new customizing SW figures. In the past I've worked on model railroads and 1/35 scale WWII models.

This is my first clone custom.  His name is Scud. I've used the camo of Desert Shield/Desert Storm. Hope you like him.

This is my first Jedi custom. His name is Jedi Hnry Thrsdy. I took inspiration from Henry Fonda's character Col. Thursday from Fort Apache. On his belt buckle are the Arabesh letter for US.

Nice work.  Love the camo technique.  I'm also a Henry Fonda fan.  What scale is he?  Even if he's 6 inch scale, those bricks next to your Jedi must be tiny.

Like the "USA", it's a nice touch. Love the camo paint on the first figure too. Great work. Keep it up.

I'm glad you like him! Jedi Thrsdy is a 3 3/4 inch. I used an Obi-Wan to make him.

Actually, I used a brick texture I found online. I resized them to fit the scale. To make them look more realistic I dry brushed paint over them to give them a dirty faded look. The tiled floor he is standing on comes from a Bath & Body Works box. Again, I just weathered that as well.

This is Ervin Van Messer. He is a member of the ISB's Alien Relocation Unit. His job is to help aliens relocate 'for their safety' to other regions on Corusant. However, the Rebels and their supporters know that the ISBARU's only task is to remove aliens from desirable districts on Imperial Worlds.
