SPOILER WARNING: Darth Bane Path of Destruction

(1/2) > >>

Tamer:
USD and I were at different points on the ending of this last book in the trilogy. I was under the impression that the book ended with ole Bane taking control of his apprentice's body, but USD thinks his apprentice got the best of him.

As I recall at the end, the apprentice sure did introduce herself as her and not Bane, but the whole checking the shaking of the hand thing has me convinced Bane took her over. For those of you who have read it, did Bane take the body over?

I do apologize to those of you who I may have ruined a books ending over in the Imperial Library thread. I don't know where my head was last night, but once again I am sorry I did that as I hate it when folks do that to me.

UnitedStatesDemocrat:
It would be nice to shed some further light on this subject...  I hate not knowing how it ends! :-\

Project-Durge:
No but his identity was imprinted on her.

Mandalore the skepsis:
I think it's kind of like the crossover in the comics with the jedi chick from the kotor era and the original sith still in the scorpion jewelery thingie.

There's two minds sharing one body.
Constantly fighting for dominance over the other.

That's my take on it.
WIth Bane's left shake and her still introducing herself as Zanna.
It makes sense there is two in there.

Mike Cypress:
I just finished this book last week. It was one of the better Star Wars books to come out lately. I read it in 2 or 3 days. I was wondering about the ending too. If Darth Bane had fully won the mental battle then I believe his Vanity wouldn't have allowed him to not introduce himself as Bane. I'm thinking something like Mandalore the Skepsis, that there is 2 minds sharing one body. Hopefully there will be one more book to complete the story.
