Wow, looks good to me Volker.

I am guessing those fingers must be getting a bit more limber.

Nice work on that fig, Volker! I really like the shot with the cloak and saber.

I like all the different versions of this guy, but my favorite is the last one. He looks like a badass bounty hunter. Need to pick up that Joe fig with that helmet.

Hmmm, the helmet came with the ROC PIT Trooper.
that figure came with a lot of extra accessories, but was pretty well sought after by the army builders. Don't know how well your stores are still stocked with the ROC figures.
If you can't find him, I know that Clint sells a resin cast of that particular helmet...

Okay, since the Mando custom contest has closed, I can put my entry into my customs thread now.
As always, I'm not just putting a figure together, but set up a character who fits into my Expanded Star Wars Universe. So here's Thorn Kord, Cuy'val Dar, soon to be a main protagonist in a piece of fan fiction.

Thorn Kord was one of the very few Mandalorian training sergeants, the famous Cuy'val Dar, who actually deployed with his Commandos on Geonosis and fought alongside them in that epic battle.
Called Ever Ready Kord or Old Beskar Breeches behind his back, Kord was both loved and feared by his troops. Being a tough, resourceful and experienced warrior, he shaped the men under his command in his own Supercommando image. All through the Clone Wars, his Rancor Squad set an impressive track record rivalled only by the equally famous Delta Squad.
Kord was mustered out of Republic service after Geonosis, but was called back to cross-train selected Clone troops when casualties among Commando squads became too high.
After the end of the war, Kord returned to Mandalore. His later fate has not been recorded.

Mainly, Kord consists of torso, arms and upper legs of TVC Bespin Luke, lower legs from the EVO Imperial Storm Commando, head from a DTC GI Joe Barrel Roll, resin helmet and slip-on armor from Clonehead, shoulder armor from the pauldron of an EVO Clone Commander, belt, ammo pouches, holster, pistol and rocket pack from an EVO Jango Fett and the Deece from an EVO Republic Commando Fi Skirata and the forearm comm unit from an EVO ARC Trooper.
The paintjob is reduced to two main colours, Olive Drab and Earth Brown to enhance the strictly military/tactical mindset of the character with a slight inkwash and some Terracotta drybrushing to simulate the red dust of Geonosis.

Kurgan that is one sweet figure! I really love the look and color choices. One of my favorite parts is the lower leg armor. So unique, you never see anyone use those lower legs. Great story line and can't wait to see this fan fiction project! Very well done my friend!
