The Design process has begun... ;)
-
Cool man!
-
Ah, very nice. This looks interesting and I know Tamer is going to flip when he sees what you have started.
-
I can already see it covered in stormies, officers, and techs getting everything ready for a deployment! This is gonna be HUGE!

Oh My............... That is going to be impressive when completed, Rodger. I can't wait to see this project progress.

Actually I did two flips (front and back)! Uh, can I put an order in for one now or do I have to beg?
Freaking spectacular Rodger!
Oh yes, this is going to the front page. This is going to be awesome!
-
Looking good!!!
-
Brilliant!!! I had been thinking about doing a maintanance/loading stand for awhile myself.
Will you incorperate a lift of some sort? Also, did IMPS the Rellentless inspire you in any way?
-
I'm really more of a lurker than a poster, but I really love your work! Can't wait to see how this one turns out!
-
This will be so cool man
-

Oooooh, adding a lift you say?

I've had to tweak it so many times that I've started to rebuild and expand it and will add Lighting. :-\
Hope to have pics by the end of this weekend. ;D

I can't wait to see the update. Needless to say I am quite eager about this being the resident walker nut here.
-
Can't wait to see what you're cooking !!!!
-
good progress
-
Wow, this is absolutely awesome! I was going to ask if you were gonna do lighting (until I finished reading and say you already mentioned it), and I'm totally glad you are! I hope you do an awesome Endor at night diorama at some point when it's finished!
-
Good to see you around XV!
-
Thanks all !! ;D
From here I plan to move up and construct the Lightbox which will sit on top of the cornerposts. Instead of supporting the third level on columns I plan to suspend it from the bottom of the Lightbox. ;)
-
ye gods ! look at the size of that thing!
-
SWEET! I must say this one is just brilliant.
So let me see if I have this correct. On top of the corner posts will sit a lightbox per your usual style and then you are going to suspend the top tier of the walker gantries under the lightbox?
I am really liking this project. Expect to see it on the fp often.
-
Wow, this thing is going to be huge! Roger, you are truly inspiring, sir. I hope you know that more than likely you will be costing Tamer some sleep by building this thing............
-
mmmm this is amazing, looks awesome so far!
-
Very cool!
-
holy bejesus !!!
-
On the front page.
-
that's looking really good

Oh my God, this is perfect.
Rodger is great! Go On.

I can't wait to see what comes next...
-

-
Been busy and haven't had much time to work on it but today I'm back on it.
The Lightbox is on the agenda today.
Here's where i'm at starting... ;)
-
Oh yeah, bring it on Rodger!
I sure hope you are taking careful measurements and makings lots of drawings / plans of this. I am sure it is gonna be quite popular! ;D
-
Yes, the lightbox. bit by bit, we are getting closer.
-
god . i can't wait t'ill this is finished !
-
Lighting experiments today on the Lightbox. ;D
With top and bottom needs this could get tricky !! :-\
-
TAMERS GUNNA CRAP SUV'S WHEN HE SEE'S THIS :o
-
Speechless
-
Coming along nicely, old friend. Always looking forward to more!
-
I love build threads like this.
-
I was wondering what was going on with this project. Daggone it is hard to be patient, but I like the progress. Keep it coming Rodger. This might be your finest work yet, and that is saying something.
-
Sorry but were all gonna need alota patience with this one. Weather is better and I've had to hit the ground running at work. :-\
Here's some progression pics. Wiring up the Lightbox and making the finished Columns is on the agenda this weekend. ;)
-
Looking good!
-
Excellent work.
-
OH man that is looking awesome!
-
Rodger that is looking great! That shot of that Shuttle on top of this is awe inspiring.
And now I have to be even more patient? Good luck with that one! ;D
-
Thats looks awesome! Where are you going to keep it so I can sneak in and give it a good home...my home that is. lol
-
Finally some progress. :D
Unfortunately the only work being done inside the shop lately has been on cars. So I can get to work to spend the rest of my time. :(
Hope to get the Lightbox/Landing Platform suspended on the columns and then design the bases next.
-
Got more done today !! ;D
-
That looks incredible!
-
you dont have to be a Jedi to forsee that this is gonna be the nuts !
-
Oh my, that is going to be massive!
-
To quote my friend Roberto, " HO - LY COW!" This is incredable. I wonder how Tamer will break it to the wife that he is selling that new car for a van so he can drive to your house and pick this thing up?
-
AMAZING!!!!
-
You THE man.
-

L.E. how did you read my mind? ;)
Rodger this is just breath taking and I can't wait to see this bad boy finished. On the front page.
-
Absolutely phenomenal! I love the works in progress shots, the workmanship and preparation of the elements is a wonder in itself.
-
EPIC ! There's no other word to describe this project.
-
Wow... this is even more awesome that I thought it was going to be... just... wow !!!
-
Awesome work, Roger!
-
Awesome!!! :o :o [at1] [at1]
-
this is gonna be WAY cool when it's done!
-
Awesome work, as always. Better not let that piece anywhere near the Talk Show set!
-
Finally got some time in last weekend. ;D
-
Wow, the size of this compared to some of your portable shop equipment makes it seems as grand as I had hoped. Daggone, it looks like the elevator is ready to roll too. Just outstanding Rodger.
I can't wait to get that on the front page tomorrow. I have never seen anything like it.
-
Large and in charge, Rodger. Man, this is gonna be something.
-
Looking good Rodger! Man I can't wait to see your next update!
-
Awesome
-
This looks real awesome and I love the size of it and all, but you might want to look into changing your lighting system... Those fluorescent bulbs give off a lot of UV light and UV light is real bad for plastic, especially white ones, that's one of the factors that turned all our old stuff yellow when we were growing up.. ;)
-
Thanks All !! ;D

I hear ya. You are right on but The type of lighting really doesn't matter because the projects I keep aren't actually turned on all that often. If I sell them I don't think they would be used for primary lighting. I choose the type of lighting for the effect. Price does matter also. Fancy lights have fance prices to match. :-\
Some like The Podrace get turned on maybe once a year and the rest of the time are covered.
-
Lookin good.
-
Been working MEGA hours at work of late. :o
Am gathering supplys (and knowledge) to experiment with LEDs of which i know little about to light the lower levels possibly. :-\
I'm not sure if it will give me the "look" I want but LED's are the future and at least this will be a learning adventure. ;)
