Post by: Squirepec7 on February 26, 2010, 03:34:27 PM
Hey guys I found out for one of my school bookreports we have to do a dio. So I decided when it was done I would post some pics of it converted to star wars.  I'll post wip pics tonight.

Well guys here are the WIP pics of my dio. It's gonna be an abondoned droid workshop turned into a clone base. All I need to finish it is the Yularen hlogram table and some chairs.

Battle of the Labrynth. This is supposed to be close to what I thought of Daedalus's workshop. Thanks also.

Well guys here is the dio 7/10 of the way done. I added another table and some parts left and some stayed on. Now all I need is to find some chairs and a Yularen holotable. Also I need to add some texture to the floor by glueing some sand down. Well here it is pictured with two of my customs.

oooh, squirepec, looking really good. Heres a suggestion for the floor. You can get some decals that look like metal and stick them down and then add some sand to gritty it up. But i think it looks fine as it is!!

The sand is going on as we speak but I never thought of decals. I might have to try that.

Well guys here is probably the finished product of my dio. I can't find a Yularen to get that table so this is probably it.
All I did was add sand to it really. Hope you guys like it.

I love it, buddy! Yes, the sand was a great touch. I could see a great workshop scene centered within that dio.

On the front page.

Yes, that is a superb and quite unusual dio and it looks as though you put a lot of thought and effort into it. Well done!

Buddy, you are showing some innovation here lately that just shows that your horizons are starting to vastly broaden.

To quote palpy, "I shall be watching your career with great interest"

good job.

Squrepec, what a great post...Are you really that kid on your videos? if so you show skills that far exceed your age...If this is the kind of stuff you are producing now God help us all as you get older...

You should be extremely proud of your graphic, customising and diorama skills...

Thanks Jules. Yes I'm that kid. As you said I am getting better at the photoshop, customs, and dio's. But what I can't keep up with is my videos. I need to figure out how to convert them so I can put them through moviemaker and add my shipyards intro. The camera I use SUCKS!!! ;D Thanks again man.
