Here is a look at my life from a day to day basis.
-
Starting Yesterday, I went to a local amusement park located in Hershey, Pennsylvania. Hersheypark. Got on a few good rides, but enjoyed the Great Bear the most.

Starting Yesterday, I went to a local amusement park located in Hershey, Pennsylvania. Hersheypark. Got on a few good rides, but enjoyed the Great Bear the most.
Sounds cool buddy. Great Bear? Is that a ride?
what size is that pic you submitted. You can go larger, then that. You can post as much as 250KB per pic, right Tamer?
The ones that I post are usually around 150KB
-
USD, looked like fun. Next Sunday were are taking our 2 girls to our local amusement park for the first time.
-
Sounds great, Darth C! I will take your suggestion, Clint
-
Well now USD, I must not be too far away from you. I went to HersheyPark on my honeymoon. We always get up that way near summers end and hit the Ren. Festival in Manhiem. So far I have only hit Idlewild park and that them park in Lancaster as my little gal is too small to hit a big park, but its coming.
-
Interesting Tamer. Haven't met anyone who lives close by on here. Today, so far, I spent the day looking on eBay, then switched over to here. After a while, I went outside, played some baseball and dodgeball, then came in and reviewed Clonehead's Customs documents.
-
Going to collect on a loan I gave out. Then, I shall head out to start my first custom. BKS storm1 sn1 So many options!
-
Today, I am no longer a Private. I was finally promoted to Corporal!
-
Well done Corporal!... ;D
-
Congrats on the corperal, Dan! It was cool chatting with you, last night. I think that it kicked us both out.
Hope you have fun, today.
-
Yesterday, I went to Hersheypark again and got on a ride known as the SooperDooperLooper. Not the best roller coaster, but pretty great!
-
Forgot to add that tomorrow I'm going back to HersheyPark and getting on a few more rides. Hope to get on two rollercoasters known as Storm Runner and Fahrenheit. Check out the tracks and they seem very exciting! Fahrenheit is first, but couldn't find the whole track of Storm Runner.
-
Nice! I like roller coasters and the wifey hates them. The spooky ones make me giggle.
-
looks like you must have a season pass to Hershey Park!
-
i'd get sick on those things lol.....
-
Man, I think I'm gonna have to take a trip to Hershey Pennsylvania! I LOVE roller coasters!
-
Well, some of us hate the roller coasters. Some love them. Anyway, I recomend being careful on Storm Runner. Hurt both of my arms on the shoulder bars. But it was a fun ride with Tons of screaming people.
-
Researched SW a bit today. Also noticed Clint's sweet Black Command0.
-
Purchased a Scorch today. Also noticed that nobody has been on lately. Strange.
-
I've been cleaning and segnett came down yesterday and we ended up going to superman days instead of to see spudafett. In hingsight, we should have gone to murray.
-
Both Tamer and Clonehead are away on vacation guys. any probs you may have or see, report to the other mods like myself, Phatty etc....
-
vacation?
Man, I miss those, :)
-
Not really a vacation for me, justba weekend getaway to the lake and to see my brother and his kids. Shot slot of fireworks at dad's house, yesterday.
-
ah ok mate i got that wrong then for u.....lol....Shawn is away though for a couple weeks....
-
Today, my first post has been placed onto the front page. Besides this, I spent the day at my Mom's Aunt's Fiancee's house. We got to learn how to drive a golf cart (really, Really fun), saw a '45 Ford, and tons of other stuff. I really like the guy. He seems to be great!
-
Just had dinner and ready to settle down. I am trying to find something to post in before I do.
-
From June Seventh, I was just a Corporal. Finally promoted to Sergeant.
-
WOO HOO! Way to go USD!
-
Nice!
-
Thanks Phatty. Thanks Clint. Now, all I have to do is get the rank up higher.
-
Spent yesterday at an unfamiliar part of central PA. During so, I went to the Harley shop. My Dad and I checked out some bikes. Then we came home. Today I just cleaned around the house, then browsed on eBay. Hoping to get a few figures. Already bought a CW Gree!
-
Just posted pictures of Boil and Waxer in the customs board.
-
Made my first custom last night. I am hoping to get more up soon.
-
Made my first custom last night. I am hoping to get more up soon.
Lets see it, Dan.
-
pics plz!
-
I've been really busy lately, but I am ready to get engaged in Star Wars again!
-
I've been really busy lately, but I am ready to get engaged in Star Wars again!
Are we gonna get to see some pics of your first custom?
-
Been off for a long, long while, but I'm back. Seen a lot of great stuff. Just glad to be back.
-
Been wondering about you, Dan.
-
Well, I should be back on daily now that I'm not so busy. So much to do, so little time.
-
I was reviewing the CW's Season Two trailer the other day and I caught a glimpse of a pretty great clone design. On it's helmet, it had yellow pentagons and yellow shoulder guards. There are more details to it, so I will have to get the picture up.
-
I am going to Hersheypark tomorrow, although I'd rather stay home. It should be fun. I am also going to make another custom.
-
Cool deal on the custom.
The family and I just got back from Del Grossi's last week. It is a park made for smaller folks though. I hope to get to go to Hershey Park someday. I was in the parking lot once, but marriage happened. Long story there, don't ask.
-
Lol! Thanks about the custom. I think I might have seen that park before. My dad used to drive truck, so I went practically everywhere. Where is it located?
-
It is located right out of Altoona PA.
-
Then I know I definitely have seen it. What was your impression of PA?
-
Besides making some more customs, I am going to try and raise my rank by posting some more.
-
Then I know I definitely have seen it. What was your impression of PA?
We love PA. It is pretty much the same scenery as we have here in the MD/WV line where I live. We did our honeymoon up in the Poconos, we go to the PA Renn. Fest just about every year, and get up to Harrisburg for the big sportsmans show every few years or so. 81 North takes us right up that way.
-
Never been to PA before. I have been to the mountains of WV before though.
Pretty country.
-
Very cool that you've seen that much of Pennsylvania, Tamer. I know that I enjoyed traveling with my dad all the way down south, especially when we went through both Virginia and West Virginia.
-
After a long day yesterday, I think I'm ready to do some customizing. I'm going to need to find the camera, and fast.
-
Today has been very busy for me. I spent it doing numerous things, but I enjoyed it. I picked up an ARF-Trooper at Wal-Mart, which they seem to be renovating.
-
My main goal this morning is to search for four Clone Wars Figures: Echo, Thire, Bly, and Gree. Hopefully I find a Thire and Gree seeing as I've only seen a few.
-
Scratch my last priority. I found a Gree and Echo at low prices, but the Thire is a bit higher than I wanted to pay. Now I'm searching for Phase One Troopers.
-
I haven't seen a thire yet. Where did you find him, Dan?
-
I have the link right here:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=120458158754&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT
Have you seen any other interesting Clone Wars figures? I am basically just stocking up on ones I already have.
-
I might have known. That's that maylasian seller that magically gets and sells figures before they are released.
I believe that this fig is in one of the clone wars two packs which are a Walmart exclusive and arn't on the shelves yet as far as I know.
-
I've seen an Echo, Fives, and Rex in a battle pack. I don't think it was released yet.
-
I have $20.00 saved right now. I get payed tomorrow which is another $20.00 and then $14.95 for a figure I sold a guy. I'm hoping to check out a Toysrus tomorrow and see what they have seeing as they get new stock Friday and Saturday.
-
Well, I'm going to call it a night. Today, I basically posted a lot, but also researched, read and went out. I am always busy.
-
I went to Hersheypark today, although I must admit after a few trips it gets boring. I also got a little farther in the book I'm reading. Now it's time to start posting.
-
or you can come talk with me and Virago in chat.
-
Thank's for the invite!
-
Chatted a bit tonight, but other than that I worked on my Yahoo account.
-
I'm adding my Yahoo I.M. account information to my profile on here.
-
Ran into a friend at the mall yesterday, but other than that nothing much. The figs there were $12.00 a piece, even for a Captain Typho. I found it unworthy.
-
Two weeks until school starts for me. I'm looking forward to it. I'm going to join the school paper again. I'm also on Student Council, so that should be fun.
-
Make sure to mention the shipyards in your school paper, my man.
-
We get what is called a "Fluff Article", which I get a lot because I finish a lot of stories. Basically, it's a story where you write about any topic you choose. I'll be sure to mention all the great stuff that goes on here in one of those.
-
Cool buddy!
-
I witnessed some strange stuff on the computer while my brother was on, but that got cleared up. Now I'm just browsing around ISY.
-
Looking to contact my dad to get Clint's order through, but other than that everything else is up to date.
-
Made my first sale today.
-
Congratulations.
What do you have left to sell?
Interested in about 5 of the figs pictured including the mando's if you still have them.
-
The list of figures for sell are listed over in the "Your Collection" section. Thank you for your interest.
-
Thanks and I will check it out there. And PM if I find anything if that is alright.
-
All I really did today was go to the store, play outside, or read. Basically another average day.
-
I got some more research done. Only seven topics left, which I'm going to do tomorrow. Then I'll be done with my research... for now.
-
Nothing really to do right now, so I might just head to a different website. I should just get off and do something else.
-
Another website? Are there other websites?
-
Your package is shipped and on it's way. Thank you for your business.
-
I am about to head out to my aunt's house to drive the golf cart again. It was fun last time, so I look forward to it again.
-
I have had a fun day today. I got to drive the golf cart again, which was extremely fun. After that, we went to a Costco and tried a sundae called the "Very Berry Sunday." Two firsts today which was extremely fun.
-
While posting in numerous threads, I noticed I had been promoted to Research. Another first!
-
Well I go back to school on the 31st, so I probalbly won't be posting as much. I might try and get a custom done and a few drawings before school, but I'l still post on here after school, homework, and chores.
-
The school has already called me up before school even begins. On Tuesday, I get to go tour the sixth graders which should be a great learning experience. I look forward to it
-
Yesterday, I went with my friend to his football practice. After, we were supposed to go to the sprint car races, but never got a chance seeing as they started early.
-
I'm thinking about buying that Thire over a few Imperial Officers.
-
I've developed a savings plan for myself, so I have more money. I hope it works.
-
This week's going to be busy for me. Starting tommorrow, I have to go to my school to pick up a schedule and meet some of my teachers. After that, I go to a orthopaedic office to get a brace for my mom. From there, I proceed to Hersheypark. My brother promised he'd get on the three big roller coasters the last time we went, so I want to see what goes on there. Then later on in the week, I go to an annual doctor's appointment. I hope I don't have to get any vaccinations and everythings alright, but you never know. I have a lot of other stuff wedged in there, but I'll get through it some how.
-
I'm starting out my busy week. Today, I didn't get a chance to run to the school because my schedule was too full, but I'll get to that tommorrow. Next, I go to the orthapaiedic brace fitters to get my mom a custom-brace for her leg. After that, the schedule continues as listed above.
-
Today in the mail, I recieved a letter from Washington D.C. saying they wanted me to participate as a Student Embassador to Europe. I am waiting to here back from the organization, but it seems exciting.
-
Whoa Dan, that would be a great experience!
-
I'm trying to pursue it, but I have to get the money raise through business and family sponsorships and the fundraisers. I also need to get a passport. It may seem like a lot of work, but it will most definitely be worth it.
-
Later on today, I go to tour some kids, but while I was awake I filled out some forms. Now I've got to think of potential sponsors. The places I'm possibly going to will include England, France, Germany, Switzerland, Belgium, and the Netherlands. I hope I can get the money raised, seeing as I have a few months. Anyone have any fundraising ideas? Feel free to post.
-
The touring went great, but I was the only male amongst all my classmates. Strange... but besides that, I got some planning done and I have to make some finalizations with my dad, but other than those two things all I have to do is wait for October to find the total price of the trip.
-
Probably the easiest fundraiser is a fifty / fifty drawing if you can persuade some type of crowded event to let you do it. Sometimes there are even community groups like Ruritans, Kiwanis clubs, Shriners, etc. who you could send letters or arrive in person to ask for some support for your trip. It sounds like a great opportunity, I hope you get to go.
-
Thanks for the advice Tamer. That's what I like about ISY. Tons of advice-givers. I too hope I get to go. It's looking even more possible by the moment.
-
It's been a slow day today. I've made some progress today, going to that doctor's appointment and talking to Franck, but other than that I've done really nothing.
-
I've been getting great ideas all around the internet, but now to put this thing all together, I was wondering if anyone had any ideas for one giant, main event? Possibly to make about $1,000-$3,000 for the trip. I have at least $100 dollars to finance it, but I was wondering if anyone has any ideas? (As I said, this shall pay off in the end, through hard work, teamwork, and determination).
-
One thing I always thought would be neat if you had enough game systems is some type of video game contest with the winner getting some type of cash prize and charge a small entry fee to get in. Say you put up your 100 smackers and then had thirty contestants you would have doubled your money. I would go in and talk to your school counselor and principal to see if they have any money stashed as they sometimes get grant monies and the like to help finance things like that too. Leave no stone unturned! Have you contacted your State Congressman? Now there is someone who could finance the whole thing.
-
I was thinking about doing some of the other fundraisers I have at my school, but I have to wait to talk to the principal. As it goes for the contest, that did come into my mind about holding a video game contest, such as Guitar Hero. Thank you, Tamer. I'm going to mark that down as a fundraiser.
-
I sent an e-mail to the Governor's office to reserve a meeting with him. Hopefully this works out.
-
The message to the governor didn't send last night, so I'm going to try again right now.
-
Good luck buddy. I hope that you get through.
-
Thank you, Clint. I most likely will, but it will take a while.
-
I have to get off right now, but I will be on later.
-
I have one more slot open for a contest. Thank you Tamer for the great ideas! If I can find enough kids interested around where I live, I was thinking a lightsaber duel contest for that Thire. If not, I'll trash the idea and head back to the planning boards.
-
hi i like your custom 501st trooper
-
Well thank you.
-
No sign of the Thire or Droidbait, but they should be arriving soon.
-
no problem
-
I've got most of the things up and running for the trip fundraiser. This is turning out good.
-
I got a lot of exercise in today, both jogging and bike riding. Shortless to say, injuries did come on the bike ride.
-
I got a haircut today. It was a bit shorter than I expected, but it looks alright.
-
Went to get the mail. On the way back, I slipped in some mud and cut my hand. I swear all these accidents are coming from my shoes.
-
Looks a bit empty, so I might just review the forums.
-
I took another bike ride today. This one was more exhausting, but I got across the roads quicker.
-
Try not to cut yourself up anymore! When does your school start Dan?
-
It starts tomorrow. Anyway, I took another bike ride today. I find them exilerating and fun. I guess I can get the hang of riding bike on a daily basis.
-
Started school today. One of the better starts to the school year, as long as we still go to D.C. for a field trip.
-
hey man how was school
-
Yesterday, it went well. Same with today, but now they tell us that we're going to Hersheypark instead of D.C. Like I haven't been there enough already.
-
Schools taking it's toll on me. We've already started a novel, had two tests, and much more homework. I love this, but then it cuts in to other things.
-
I need to get down into the woods by my house and clear out all the old paths that used to be in there befor the plants grew. I should do that tomorrow. It was a good club house.
-
I hear you about school taking its time away from me here. At least we can take a bit of time each week to play.
-
School has been dragging every last ounce of free time out of my life, what with the Student Council events and ridiculous homework, but I enjoy every last ounce of it. Kids ask me to help them with homework, people just abruptly come sit at my lunch table and ask me questions, and a kid even asked me to proofread his book rough draft. School just keeps getting better and better.
-
Busy man! But then again, it keeps you out of trouble!
-
As true as it gets, Phatty.
-
I've been really busy with tons of stuff. How's everybody doing here?
-
Getting busier all the time, Dan. Sounds like you are having a good time at school.
-
Well I've got a lot of duties. Student Council. Newspaper Club Senior Member and Leader. Alot of stuff.
-
Since there is a lot of people in the newspaper club at school and I'm the only senior reporter, I might be applicable to do a story on the Shipyards. If so and you guys want to be mentioned in it, you can contact me when I get confirmation so I can get some interviews for it. No promises what so ever, though.
-
Go for it, Dan. Let the shipyards legacy be heard.
-
I was assigned two new stories today, so I have to type up questions and get started on that.
-
Today was another quick, usual day at school. I got to work on some more People to People stuff, but the real work is going to come in when I go to the informational meeting next Saturday. My teacher says her daughter went to Australia for $7,000 with the same program, and that she flew around a lot, so she thinks it will be less. I was thinking the cost would be around $8,000, but if it's lower it keeps the stress level down. Great news to here.
-
Great chatting with Jay today. (Music from back to the future)... Lol.
-
I'm gonna see if I can head down to this place called the Whitaker Center in Harrisburg to spend the day. That would be a fun day from past experiences.
-
I chatted a lot today as well as finished an action figure. I also went bowling and came in second to my dad.
-
Another day at school. Today, they were advertising the People to People trip on TV, so if I am to be traveling it will be great to do it with familiar faces.
-
From this point forward into the week, my schedule is packed. Tomorrow, I have to reschedule an interview with the Dean of Students, then head to Student Council. Friday, we have some pass activity and then the premiere of the CW Season Two. Then I have to leave here at 12:00 on Saturday to go to Summerdale out of Harrisburg for a meeting. A lot of stuff to do.
-
I'm out from school sick today. I just woke up and feel worse than when I went to bed. It seems the only thing keeping me breathing are these cough drops.
-
At least my sore throat went away.
-
Out sick from school? sounds like a good time to customize! Hope you get to feeling better, Dan.
-
Thanks, Clint. Now I feel a lot better, although my mom says I still have a fever.
-
Hate to hear you are feeling sick. I fought that daggone battle last week and am still tired! Hope you get to feeling better.
-
Thank you for your concern as well, Tamer. I hate getting the flu, especially when I have a meeting tomorrow.
-
I am feeling a bit better today. I'm looking forward to the meeting today, and then I'm going to Toysrus to pick up some figs. I might even get a free Ponds figure!
-
OINK OINK!
-
Lol, Jay. That's gonna stick with me, isn't it?
-
yep ;)
-
Did you check your PM?
-
yes and i'm saying nothing .......oink!
-
Well, the meeting I went to today was poor. They wanted me to put $400 down on the spot for the application, the the $6,500 for tuition costs, then extra for food.
-
Sorry to hear that. Wow, I will never be able to afford for my little gal to do something like that! Hope it works out for you. Still gonna try to go?
-
Lol, Jay. That's gonna stick with me, isn't it?
Roflmao what a fun night that was!!
-
I might try and go outside of the program as it will be about $3,000 Dollars cheaper and you can get the same experience.
What does Roflmao mean? We should try and do that again.
-
rolling on the floor laughing my ass off
-
Never would have guessed that.
-
Well, I really put myself in the hole today. I though it would be easier to take only the books I needed home so my backpack strap wouldn't tear. So when I gathered everything I though I needed, the kid at the locker above me drops his book. I pick it up, give it to him, then place my book back into the locker and grab the wrong one. Then after that, I didn't bring home my binder, therefore forgetting my list of topics I needed. This is especially bad now because I can't find the assignments on the school website and the teachers are out of school. Curse my bad memory!
-
Today was crazy. We had a pep rally today and then there was a dodgeball game with a wierd twist. I'll mention that later, but all I can say is teachers doing backflips and more...
-
Well, today at school I got some interviews done. Tomorrow I've got career workshop.
-
I'm going to try and put up this banner. Pretty generic.
-
Tommorow I have the first kickball game for a tournament we play. It's also Sport's day, although they told Student Council it was Twin Day. Ah well, at least it's still the spirit days we picked.
-
I see that I've been promoted to Development from Research in the posts sections.
-
My friend said he was coming home this weekend, so it will be nice to see him.
-
I went to my friend's house last night and spent the night. After a few series of trades, I left there with no gain and no loss in figures.
-
Haven't been on in a few days. Here's is an update, in case your interested. I recieved my package today, and I also went to a friend's house last night. I have been very busy as well. I like the new banner. What's new with you guys?
-
My attempt to go to Wal-mart failed. Ah well, there's always another time.
-
Well, my computer is finally fixed. Apparently the hard drive crashed. But, I'm back again.
-
Good to see you back, Dan. You been finding any goodies?
-
Not yet, Clint, but I'm heading to the Wal-Mart today. Have you found anything?
-
No buddy, not for a couple of weeks now.
I checked the Walmart here at the lake. They have the same stuff on the pegs that they had a month ago.
-
It's the same here for the Comic and Clone Wars Two Packs. I picked up the Pilot Evolutions, so the V-Wing and Tie Fighter Pilots go along well with my Biggs.
-
Nothing were I am either just the same old figs,
-
My progression for today is that I've completed most of my Science Consumer Test Project and have a rough draft for my French project.
-
Yesterday was a long, painful day. Not so much literally, but I spent all my time on projects and homework. I'm just glad to have some free time today.
-
My progression for today is that I've completed most of my Science Consumer Test Project and have a rough draft for my French project.
what kind of projects do you have to do?
-
Those two projects are general ones we get at school. For the French project, I had to make an overview of my room and label the items in the room in French. For the Science, I had to choose a product to research. I also had to incorporate variable (dependent and independent) and a control to look back at.
-
what degree are you going for?
-
Middle School. Not really a degree, just classes.
-
Middle School. Not really a degree, just classes.
how old are you?
-
Thirteen.
-
Thirteen.
:o
wow
-
Is there a new rank system?
-
Well, tonight is supposed to be trick or treating night, but I decided to save my mom and dad some money and not go. Ah well, I'm going to find something to do.
-
the rank system is SLIGHTLY different, in that some of the ranks have been renamed. New icons were VERY much needed. No trick or treating for you, eh? Hell, if I could get away with it, I'd still go, and I'm 32!!! I miss being young sometimes!
-
I particularily like the new rank system. Now I'm a Colonel instead of out of Development and I have a badge. Go0d work, Jules!
-
I feel extremely poor today. I pulled a muscle in my shoulder while I was asleep. It hurts if I even move it.
-
I picked up my new pair of glasses today. Everything seems a lot clearer, but it also seems wierd. I have to get used to them, I suppose.
-
new glasses always take time to get used to, even if the prescription is the same as it was.
someday, go for contacts. then maybe get lasik surgery once you're older and tired of corrective lenses.
that's where I am now: sick of the contacts and the glasses... but unable to get the laser procedure till i can afford it
-
Lol. I always thought that kind of stuff is risky.
-
Today was a slow day, mainly because I had stayed home due to my shoulder. That has improved a bit, buth other than that, nothing else transpired today.
-
My brother seems to love the AT-TE more than I. All I hear is the sound of the legs moving or the gun firing.
-
The ATTE is a fun toy, I annoy my wife with those very same sounds.
-
Well, I probalbly shouldn't play with this thing around my cat. I open up the back, she hears the sounds it emits, and then she flys out of the room. It's a pretty crazy thing.
-
Congrats to Trev on being my second business partner.
-
All the French I can take in for a day has been obtained. I am glad that I can speak French real well, as I have the best average in the class. I'm thinking about making a Phase Two Alpha-17 as seen at the Battle of Boz Pity.
-
Congrats to Trev on being my second business partner.
Thank Dan looking forward to receiving them :D
-
Nothing much happened today at school. It was a long, exhausting day. I like school everyday, but somedays it is the same routine. At least tomorrow we have the last day of these classes and then switch some. I'm moving to woodshop, so the hands-on material will be fun.
-
I did woodshop in 8th Grade, and it was a blast! I wouldn't mind taking an adult version of that class!
-
Lol! We started out in the Library today, getting right into the swing of things. We started to study how precise measurements have to be and used a computer program to test our skills. I have it down exactly to the sixteent of an inch, so I'm proud of myself.
-
well done mate.... sending you what i owe you today :)
-
Thanks, Trev! I look forward to adding that to the big metal box filled with coins and paper-notes I call my "Second Collecton".
-
I downloaded Google Earth yesterday, and I have to admit that it is fun to play with.
-
I downloaded Google Earth yesterday, and I have to admit that it is fun to play with.
It is fun, but can seriously lock up your computer. I admit I rarely use it anymore because of this. Perhaps they have fixed those bugs since I have played around with it.
-
That's kind of unfortunate seeing how it is a fun and useful tool.
For today, I might head out to Toysrus, or order something off of eBay.
-
Well, I figured that when I play my brother in MLB Baseball on the Playstation 3, I am never to be the Yankees again (2-22). Ah well, there are plenty of other good teams I can choose.
-
I'm at the 600 posts mark now. Only 400 'til I make a thousand! Kind of weird seeing my name in red and seeing a new badge, but it's a change I'm proud of. Time to display the new banner.
-
Today was another average day for me. About all that changed was that the Book Fair, a program sponsored by Scholastic Books, was open for the first time today. I might purchase a book tomorrow morning. Tomorrow, I have school conferences. I can't wait to show my dad all the work I did, as well as the straight A's I earned. (A guy in my History class says I should go to Harvard, a few kids say I'm "really" or "extremely" smart, and a few other things.) Besides that, the concept sketch for Commander Jet is coming along well. Also, we took the preliminary, or first, round of the spelling bee. This is about all that's happened so far today.
-
It's been a great day so far. I've finished my homework early, so I've gotten alot of time on the computer. How's it going with everyone else?
-
Well, it's about nine o'clock, so I'm going to head off. I might work on a sketch or two.
-
Hey Hey Hey Dan!!! i got your Antennas mate!! Thank you Buddy ;D ;D i will go and add to your feedback now
-
Hope you have a good night USD!
-
That I did, Pat. I recieved your package, too, Trev. Feedback left. Thanks again.
-
My layout for today was out of the ordinary as we had "Mix it Up" Day at lunch time, where we were able to sit with other people and learn things about them. It was a great time. I also learned that we will be starting to work with power tools in Tech.-Ed., so I'm looking forward to that. As I said last night, I had conferences today and I went to find out that I got straight A's, so I'm very proud of myself.
-
Well, I'm off to bed. Good night to all at the Shipyarders, or Good Morning and Afternoon.
-
Today was the Grandparents lunch, as well as Veteran's Day celbration. Tomorrow I have two interviews set up for the newspaper club.
-
Well, I now have a high speed internet connection, so things should move along quicker on my laptop.
-
Another day down, as is another inteview. I might have to schedule an interview in the morning to avoid the hastle for Monday as we don't have ninth period tommorrow due to the Turkey Trot, or 1 1/2 Mile run. We might run at all since it is suppost to rain all day.
-
You'll have to post links to those interviews, or the interviews themselves. I'd like to read them
-
I don't have some of the stories up yet, but anything by DGunsallus, or Daniel Gunsallus is mine. I have to get a specific link though, since it is for reporters only.
-
I'm currently posting from the library. Nothing much to record currently. I'm sure that may change.
-
Here's that link I promised, Pat:
http://sites.google.com/a/mmspawprint.org/edit/system/app/pages/search?q=Daniel+Gunsallus&scope=search-site
I don't know if you have to have an account to get in, so I still have to check that out.
-
I've been off all day for good cause. We have a "guest room" here ever since my sister moved out that's filled with boxes. Well, I went in today and started cleaning. My mom joined me and we got all of the garbage that was in there out, but now I smell like dust. Ah well, at least I found like four dollars worth of change and a half dollar. I even found that case full of world coins I lost. Cleaning that room reminded me of when I was little, when I used to push all my toys and garbage under the bed and called it "clean". Well, I chose to clean up under there too, but it wasn't as easy as the room today, because I was dealing with a bunk bed I couldn't move. That's basically my day.
-
Today at school was pretty great. For one, I recieved the award of Student of the Month, and I also was elected for the Spelling Bee. Today was pretty great so far!
-
Well, today we started to schedule for Career Day, an event where kids go and learn about their career interests. I learned that I get to go on-site, or to a trip outside of school. For our team in the eighth grade, we get to go on a field trip to something the called "the Forum" at the Capital City Mall, but because it says the location is in Harrisburg, instead of Camp Hill, they might mean the Colonial Park Mall.
-
I think I have a pretty good shot at the spelling bee coming up. All of the words they want me to study are the ones I find the easiest. It would be nice to win.
-
I was Spelling Bee Champion of my school district in 6th, 7th, and 8th grade! Go for it!
-
All three years? That must be a record!
-
Yet another day at school. I'm fond of school now. It gives you something to do, and you can never stop learning!
-
Today at school we had our annual Anti-Bullying assembly and pledge, where the whole school took a pledge to ban bullying. We also signed a giant banner that will hang in our commons area. Nothing much to report today.
-
Well, my friends back from his private school, so I'm going to his house on Tuesday. As for today, I drew up some designs from clones and played my brother in basketball. Beat him 18 to 9 in the end.
-
It turns out I'll be seeing my friend sooner than expected as he is coming over tonight. Well, I'm going to go prepare for his arrival.
-
Off to my friends house, tonight, and then a long vacation awaits me.
-
I'd like to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving!
-
Well, I have to go get a shot early in the morning tomorrow. I'm glad it's just a seasonal flu shot and not the H1N1 vaccine.
-
Well, I'm off to bed. Good night, 'Shipyard members.
-
Nothing new to report for today. I went to the mall, and it was swamped with Black Friday Shoppers. It wasn't too bad, though.
-
Last night was a slow night. I might work on a custom today, if I can get the right figure.
-
Well, I'm going to go to bed now guys. Another great day here at the 'Yards.
-
Just thought I'd note that Episode IV, V, and VI are on tonight into the early morning if anyone is intersted in watching them.
-
Looks like Brian just jumped off, so I'm the last one on here at about 9:43 Easter Time.
-
Another promotion today. I went from Captain to Commodore.
-
congrats Dan ;D
-
I see you want up to Colonel, Trev. Congrats to you.
Today at school, I pretty much completed the basics for my box, gluing together the sides and having the top and bottom prepared. Now I have to enter into the fine detail. I will be sure to post pictures on here when I finally finish the class project.
-
Today in school, it was another average day. In Tech. Ed., I'm working with this machine that rocks up and down like a sewing machine, except it cuts wood, to carve out a practice handle. I'm also creating my own handle design for the project. When we travel down the trail of Woodburning, I will carve the Imperialshipyards symbol into it, if possible. Well, tomorrow was supposed to be our field trip, but due to scheduling conflicts it's pushed off to Thursday. Tomorrow we have regular classes, so when I work on the handle again, I hope I don't cut off my fingers, lol!
-
that sounds like a fun class! I can't wait to see your final project!
-
Thanks, Pat. Well, today we didn't work on our projects at all, but watched a video on how to glue the top and bottom on and sand it to a cube. I hope that I get this project done soon!
-
Well, winter's finally coming about. It's snowing here.
-
I'm going to head off for the night. It's too late to do a custom. Maybe at 5:30 I'll start it up. Best get prepared tonight.
-
I got up at seven this morning and completed the custom ARF Trooper. If you are interested in seeing it, feel free to check my Custom's thread. I might go out and play football now that the figure is out of the world.
-
How is your Weather, Dan? Is it cold there?
-
Cold enough that it was snowing yesterday. I don't mind playing football in the snow, as long as it's not in the mud, lol. How's yours?
-
Not as cold today as yesterday. They are calling for snow tonight and the first of the week.
-
Good luck with that. I'd volunteer to shovel your sidewalks and driveway, but there's the different location issue, lol.
-
Well, tomorrow I have the spelling bee. I'm not really nervous now, but I know when I go out in front of all those people, I might be. Today at school, we worked on the project again in Tech. Ed. I will definitely have to burn the symbol in once the project is fully complete.
-
Good luck, guess its a little late and you are participating if you had school today.
-
Thank you, Tamer. As noted, today was the spelling bee at my school. I made it up to round seven, with ten people left, out of the 50 that started. I say I did really well.
-
I have triple eight posts, 888, but with this post, I'll send it up to 889. Just thought I'd mention that.
-
LOL! It's the small things that make you smile! Great job in that Spelling Bee!
-
Thank you, Pat! 22 Times I've heard that now.
-
Progress Report on Tech. Ed. Project: Well, I have the box completely put together. I cut the top off today, so all I have to do is (1) sand the edges that I bandsawed, (2) make the handle, (3) drill the holes for the screws, (4) attach the handle, (5) apply the finish, and last but not least, (6) put the hinges on. Very long way to go, but also a very short way.
-
An average Saturday. I'm going to work on some of my homework later.
-
I completed my homework and got some figure designs done for upcoming customs.
-
As I mentioned in your Custom Figure thread, I'm excited to see how this project turns out!
-
Thanks, Pat!
Today, I went to get the mail, and when there was a package there, my mom said it was a Christmas present I could open up now. In short, I have the COMMANDER GREE ACTION FIGURE! As well, I stained my wood project in Tech. Ed. today.
-
Hey, you got your Gree. Alright Dan!
-
The staining turned out great! I applied a coat of poly-urithane today and tomorrow I'll do the same for the final coat. All I have to really do now is put in the felt bottom and top and I'm finished!
-
Today was one of those days with goods and bads thrown in, so overall the day was okay. I got the final coat of finish on, and I also got the felt inserts for the bottom completed. Now all I have to do is finish up with tomorrow's steps and then the project is complete!
-
Today was a great day! I got the project in Tech. Ed. complete, which looks great. Tomorrow we get to grade it, and I found out today I have straight A's, same as last marking period!
-
Today was a great closer to the week. I got the project done in Tech. Ed. as I told you yesterday, and gave myself a grading evaluation. All that's needed now is the teacher's and I'm home free from that project. As of now, I'm working on a sheet metal box for extra credit, which seems way more fun than the wooden box project. I hope that Christmas gets here fast, but not too fast. My friend's coming home for the holiday's, so I'll have him over or vice versa. That's about all I have to log for today.
-
Sounds like you have been busy at school, Dan. How long is your Christmas break?
-
Our Christmas break begins on the Eve of Christmas, so Thursday the 24th, to January the 4th, or Monday. Do you have a break, Clint? If so, how long?
-
More of a break than I had wished for, I'm afraid, Dan. I haven't worked in two weeks now. The question is, when will my company pick up enough jobs so that I can go back to work?
-
I wish you good luck with that. May I ask what field of work you're in?
-
I'm a union Ironworker, Dan. I have done that for 15 years now and have had a good life doing it. The economical situation this year has slowed down the construction trade and thus, has limited the amount of jobs that my company can bid on. Last year was my best year ever as far as how much I made and this year is going to be the worst as far as how much I worked.
-
Again, I wish you good luck with that. Anything I can do to help?
-
Well I thank you for your concern, Dan, and would ask only that you have a safe and happy holiday season, my friend.
-
Thank you. As should you.
-
Well, I guess I'm going to have to go out back and heave my way into our closet (jammed door and broken handle) to get the shovel out. The snows pretty high, so I'll be lucky if I can even get that far.
-
I had no luck with it, so now my dad's going to come here with his "big screwdriver" and try and get the door open. The ice is frozen over it, so I doubt he has a big chance of getting it open. Will report back later.
-
Driveway's dug out. I also got our back porch and sidewalk dug out.
-
Don't put that shovel away too far yet, looks like we get another blast about Wednesday!
-
A white Christmas, then? I'll be sure to keep it close to hand. Thanks for the advice, Shawn!
-
Just noticed I made Brigadier.
-
Had my friend over tonight, but other than that, nothing much. We played Battlefront II for a while. Boy that's a fun game, especially with rock music playing in the background.
-
I'm pretty much exhausted for the night. I'm going to head off. Great work to Jay, by the way!
-
I'm going to head out soon to go to a friend's house, so before I go, I want to get at least one figure done and posted. Hint, hint, Pat!
-
I'm up early as I am every year, so I just thought I'd wish everyone a Merry Christmas. Doesn't look like anyone else is on, except for Shawn, though.
-
Well, my computer's about to die, so I'm heading out. Merry Christmas to all, and to those ISY members who celebrate it, Happy Boxing Day.
-
Great time last night. I went over to my friend's house, shot some miniature Star Wars holograms that they used to include in the figures with Nerf Guns, had a lightsaber duel, played Trivial Pursuit (I Won!), and some other stuff.
-
Bought a new game yesterday, Jak and Daxter: The Lost Frontier, and I beat most of it yesterday, although today I am stuck on it at the final boss level. The game went by fast, which is what I dislike, most likely due to the different producers. This time around, it was produced by High Impact Games, instead of Naughty Dog. Ah well, it still was a good game.
-
Which version of the PSP did you get, Dan. I have the first version which I think is a 2000? Black and thick.
-
Same here. It's the same as the one I'd had last time.
-
I just moved around and vacuumed my room, so I've got it in a better state than it was before.
-
I'm out for the day. Good afternoon, night, or morning to all ISY members.
-
Just topped 1,100 posts. Minor accomplishment, lol, but every little thing counts.
-
Just topped 1,100 posts. Minor accomplishment, lol, but every little thing counts.
You don't have too many more rank tabs to obtain.
-
Really? I know I still have to bump up to Marshal, lol. Thanks for pointing that out, Shawn.
-
I haven't posted in a few days, mainly due to my hard drive crashing. Might be out for a week or two, but I'm still alive, lol.
-
I will most likely have the computer fixed tomorrow, so I'll be back on.
-
What was the fix, Dan? You get a new HDD?
-
Not sure what the exact damage was, Clint. I'll find out for you.
-
glad to hear all's well for you! Get back here soon!
-
glad to hear all's well for you! Get back here soon!
My brother Steve, after jumping on the bed, jumped off and ruptured a tenden in his toe. He's alright now, but he can't walk for awhile. I feel really bad for him.
-
My computer's back, up and running. It was the HDD, Clint. All I can say is: I'm back.
-
welcome back dan!
-
Great to be back, with the ease of the computer.
-
OUCH! And THAT'S why mothers tell you NOT to jump on the bed! LOL!
-
Good to see you are back, Dan. What have you been up to?
-
I've been up to a lot of things. I've been selected to take a special French test, whereas I would've had to pay an entry fee to get in, but my school principal and french teacher nominated and payed for me as I speak French so well. The official name of the test is: Le Grande Concours.
J'aime parler francais, mais je prefere parle anglais. Sorry, not to stray off into French, lol. I don't mean to put this out too soon, but if it's okay with the Administrators, Pat offered me a position as Staff Reporter here at ISY, which is pretty cool. I'll try and do my best here.
Ca-va, Clint, I mean, how are you, lol?
-
USD, that was Wayne, Pat, and I all think you will do an excellent job.
-
Thank you guys, too! I shouldn't forget you guys, lol.
-
LOL. We are quite the triumvirate.
-
It's a great staff all around.
-
I'm off to bed for the night.
You don't have too many more rank tabs to obtain.
Were you hinting something to me before, Shawn, lol.
-
I've had a great day, mainly because I didn't have any homework to do. I also noticed a rank tab added to my profile, which looks very cool, and I must say thank you to whomever designed it!
-
That badge is courtesy of our one and only, Jules!
-
Thank you very much, Jules! Well, I'm now on with all of my assignments done, even ones for Friday! This week is going to zoom by with no projects to do!
-
Very cool! How is that HTML guide coming along? Making any sense to you? Have any questions?
-
Jay and I were discussing it. I've gotten it down pretty well! The only question I have is when is the next quiz, lol?
-
LOL! Let me look into that for you all!
-
Thanks, Pat!
Well I'm sick, so today I'm immobilized in bed. My brother is also home. At least I have the computer, and enough energy to type well.
-
Sorry you are under the weather, Dan. Now is a good time to catch up on your posts, though.
Get to feeling better quick, buddy.
-
I've got a cramp in my leg and the fever hasn't broke, but the plus side is that I'm designing more customs. (Staff figures and CW.) As soon as I feel better, I'll get some money out of the bank and head over to see the selection of figs.
I just realized I have to make a fig of myself, which will be wierd, but enjoyable.
-
I had a few ideas for clones today, such as a squad of clones transferred from other legions.
-
I'm heading out to pick up some supplies, and to get my computer fixed...AGAIN! Lol.
-
Thanks for the banner Jules.
I have the customs posted, by the way.
-
Very nice work USD.
And nice guitar too... goes well with your new banner.
-
Thank you.
-
My first report is up on the front page.
-
My first report is up on the front page.
That it is and much better than my first. It will be so nice to have some SW news on our front page. Thanks Dan.
-
You're welcome, Shawn. Second one's up right now.
-
Dan i think there is something wrong with your links buddy they don't go to what you have posted, for both of your FP stories
-
Really? I'll check it out. Thank you for informign me.
-
What I've noticed is that it reads %22 or something similar after the ending: .html, but the thing is, I am unsure of how to remove that. I'll try my best.
-
I think that I see the problem. It appears that the link that you entered in the curanto program has an extra set of quotes on the end of it.
-
Thanks.
-
I've been out awhile do to homework, so I'm taking any moment I can scrounge up.
-
Ah, we aren't going anywhere, so get that homework done!!
-
Now I can get some posting time in! Sheesh, I was out all day, but glad to be here now.
-
I know how you feel! I haven't been able to even OPEN my computer in 36 hours!
-
Lol. Even the slightest changes you notice when you come back.
-
I've been very busy, but not missing, lol. Here's an update:
Things have been going great in school, and today was my Dad's birthday. Although, things aren't all positive, as Louie, our Maine Coone Cat, is sick, and might pass away if we don't get all the treatment money. Trying our best here, and my parents aren't sure what to do. I'll keep updated on the little guy's condition!
-
Sorry to hear about Louie. what is wrong with him?
The Maine Coone is the biggest breed of house cat. How little is he?
-
Thank's for your concern, Clint. Well, Louie has something known as a Rectal Prolapse, which I probably shouldn't explain. Right now, he's down to 7 pounds.
-
The little guy passed away today, so everyone's taking it a bit hard. I'm not really upset anymore, although I just hope Louie is better where he is now.
-
So Sorry to hear about your loss, Dan.
-
Thanks, Clint.
-
sorry to hear that mate ,as a cat lover myself i can relate i have had a few cats and its always sad when you lose them .
-
Hate to hear that Dan. I have an older cat myself and think it is a matter of anytime now for him too.
-
So Sorry to hear about your cat Dan, you keep your chin up!
-
Thanks, guys!
-
I'm sorry to hear about your cat, Dan.
-
I'm sorry for your loss, man.
But remember, he's waiting for you on the other side of the Rainbow Bridge.
-
Well, I've been off a while, once again, lol, so I thought I'd stop in. I'm going to stop over at TRU to take a look at some of the figs, and then come home. We have a two hour delay today, so that's proving to be great, once compounded with the two snowdays we just had, and the weekend starting tomorrow. Also, I should have an PM to you, Clint, in regards to the Stormie!
-
Yeah, I have been off all week and I am going stir crazy. If you hit some stores, look out for that Legacy ESB wave for me Zuckuss, r2x2, and the regular snowtrooper please.
-
Yeah, I have been off all week and I am going stir crazy. If you hit some stores, look out for that Legacy ESB wave for me Zuckuss, r2x2, and the regular snowtrooper please.
Tamer on Toys R Us's online store they have zuckuss and r2-x2 on sale for 6.99.
-

Tamer on Toys R Us's online store they have zuckuss and r2-x2 on sale for 6.99.
I checked that out, only Zuckuss is still in stock. I ain't gonna pay high shipping and deal with spotty packaging for just one.
-
I'll look out Shawn, and I don't charge high shipping! ;)
-
I'll look out Shawn, and I don't charge high shipping! ;)
Thanks Dan. If they are minty grab em quick!
-
No luck at TRU, but I did pick up two remote-control Ferrarri's. One for myself and one for my brother.
-
For my personal recording, I just made 1,300 posts.
-
I've been out for awhile due to no internet access, so I apologize. I will try and get on more now, because , man I miss it!
-
Here's an update of how things are progressing:
Things are going well at school! Aside from that, I used some saved up money to buy a new flat screen TV. My family also renewed their season passes, so another summer of fun. That's about it, as of late.
-
Cool beans, Dan. What kind of TV did you get?
-
32". The box said it was energy efficient, so good for my wallet and the environment. I don't believe it was a plasma, although it's by Phillips.
-
Nice! does it have a good picture?
-
Settings had to be adjusted when I got it, but yes, it's picture's awesome! With my PS3 hooked up, it also has DVD, Internet, and regular gaming capabilities. I also picked up a new stand because my cats destroyed the last one. Well, I love them, but not necessarily what they do, if you know what I mean.
-
That was my prerequisite when picking out a tv. How good will the PS3 look on it?
-
Well, when I finally got the system hooked up, I believe that it's the best quality TV I've had, ever. The graphics are clearer, and text I couoldn't even depict is now easy to read. Very great TV, and a wise purchase if I do say so.
-
That's very cool Dan! What resolution is it? 720p or 1080p? Is it 60Hz or 120Hz processing? I recently hooked my Xbox 360 up to my 1080p 120Hz LCD TV, and it is freaking awesome! I totally know what you mean about being able to read text that was blurry before! Way too cool.
-
I know it was 720p, but I didn't take notice to the HZ. I believe it's 120.
-
Very nice! I bet you're loving it big time! Good luck prying you out of your room now, eh?
-
More like good luck prying my brother and dad out of my room now, lol. I bet they love it more than I do.
-
LOL! Better stop by the hardware store and pick up a new door handle and deadbolt lock for your bedroom door!
-
Why not a steel door while I'm at it, lol.
I'm just about to get off, got a few more topics to check. Ah, tonight's been great fun getting back on.
-
Well guys, I just thought I'd let you know that I might not be on as often as I normally am due to my computer going in for repair for one to two weeks, but I will be on via my PS3, so don't count me down and out yet!
-
Another update, as I'm trying to update this less often than I was:
Things are going well once again. Nothing big that I have to worry about. I'm going to head out to TRU soon, so if anybody wants me to look for anything for them, I will definitely do so! Feel free to PM me.
-
I just made Major! Although I'm not really going to notice the up-ranking, I keep track of it for personal usage.
-
well congrats, Dan! I mean, MAJOR Dan!
-
Thank you, sir, Moff, sir!
Lol.
-
A great weekend! I picked up Star Wars: TCW Republic Heroes, which was great. I also got some basketball time in, and I worked on my book some more.
-
I haven't been on in awhile due to my very, VERY busy schedule, but I am making some time for it during the current three-day weekend.
-
I just finished all of my homework, so I'll be off and on over the next few hours!
-
I would like to say thank you to Jules for the banner he gave me! I am uploading it now!
-
I love the patriotic feel your profile sends! It looks awesome!
-
Thanks, Pat. I'm a patriotic kind of kid.
-
Today, I took Le Grand Concours, or the National French Contest, which is a test that quizzes you on how well you know French, even what you don't know. I believe I did very well, but I don't know until I recieve the results.
-
I've been very busy as of late. How are you guys?
-
Well, I'm so close to having my comp. fixed. ONE MORE WEEK, lol! I have a well needed hair cut tomorrow, and my grades are so high they're through the roof. I've been out so long, I've been dying to be called USD, lol. How is everyone here?
-
Glad to hear your comp. is about ready to be online again. I wish some of my kids had your grade problems. LOL. Way to go!
-
Lol. I cannot wait to be writing again!
-
My computer is back, so my Staff Reporter duties can be fulfilled now!
-

dude i never knew you spoke french i speak french too ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
-
Tres Bien! Ca-va? Je suis bien. Et, j'ai mon ordinateur!
(Very well! How are you? I am well. And, I have my computer!) Lol.
-
Clint, thanks for the shoutout with my book. I'm off to write in a few.
-
Looks like I'm the only one on, so it should be a fun morning.
-
I've been very active with customs all this week, and I've made 11 from Friday to Today. My greatest customs accomplishment yet!
-
Well, I'm heading to TRU today(I'd much rather stay home), but while I'm out, I'll see if I can check out a Wal-Mart that's on the way there! Otherwise, things have been going well with me. As I always ask, how are you guys?
-
I've been here over a year, I just noticed. April 17, 2009- April 17, 2010.
-
WOO HOO! Way to go, Long-Timer!
-
Thanks, Pat, although you and the other founding members have been here a lot longer than I have!
-
I love recording my uprankings, here. I just made Marshal. I see Doc made Admiral, so congrats to him!
-
My computer is broke again. I now have a Wii, though. (Birthday present).
-
I might be off quite awhile until my computer returns, but I'll chime in everyday.
-
:-\Computer's still broke.
I would like to hear from my fellow staff, as well as Lee, Koty, Michael, Colin, and Vlad, to see what you've been up to!
-
Dan, your computer problems have to be frustrating! I'd probably go absolutely NUTS if my laptop went down! As for me, I've been busy with work and yard work, and now I start my part time gig (I SOOOOO don't want to) tomorrow, so we'll see how that goes. Gotta make that extra green before CV!
-
colin ? (sorry colin dont know who you are)
-
colin ? (sorry colin dont know who you are)
I was referring to "customclone" member Colin. Sorry for the misunderstanding.
My computer is back now, guys! The best thing that's happened so far are the awards I received at our eight grade award ceremony. I received the Presidential Academic Excellence Award, as well as the Alpha Award for our team, the highest honor bestowed upon an eighth grader. I am very honored!
-
How have y0u been, Koty?
-
A great big congratulations to you, Dan! That is awesome to hear. And, it's great to hear that your computer has returned!
-
I've been very busy the past few days, cleaning, for a visit from relatives, and will be up until tuesday. I won't get much log time in. Feel free to contact me if you need me!
-
The cleaning is almost done. Some minor touch-ups to complete, but then it will be ready! How has everyone been around here? Anything I've been missing?
-
Cleaning is done. Nothing else to report that is major. How about you guys?
-
My day is ending on a good note. I got some writing done today, so I plan to do a lot more tomorrow. I also got a story up, which I encourage many to check out. Check out Havoc Squad as well on Wookiepedia. It will be worth your while! To the 'Yards, good night.
-
Excellent story, Dan! Thanks for getting that up there for us.
-
I've got to get up on the horse, for I truly love this job!
-
I just finished painting a stand in my room(Black and Gold for Steelers) and I am currently airing out my room, so it doesn't smell like paint. I must say it turned out pretty okay.
-
My buddy spent the night, and we did some work at his church. I swear the place is haunted, as does he. He's afraid to go into the basement, the upstairs, and the main gathering hall. He bails out everytime I walk in, and I can't be alone, for I don't want to get caught on the cameras and get in trouble for being alone. Very complicated and scary.
Also, I noticed we have a new member, making him the 501st. ;D
-
LOL! I didn't notice that our newest member was the 501st!
Churches can be creepy in the dark, that's for sure!
-
I'm debating whether or not to send in my PS3. It would be fixed as a positive, but I'd be out $150 of my own money. Any advice?
-
to whre?
-
To their repair center. Mine broke, and I want to get it fixed.
-
how often do you use it?
-
When it worked, about 4 0r 5 times a week.
-
My best friend has set off for his private school across the river, so I wish him the best of luck. School's not that far down the road for me, and I must admit, High School seems like it may be a scary thing!
-
I've been sick a lot lately, so I've been enjoying my PS3. I hope to return real soon... I miss the 'Yards.
-
I've finally gotten over my cold. I had to fight through it durring my school clothes shopping and haircut, but I'm better now. I'm ready to get back to ISY, and am ready to write! ;D
-
I found out today the pain I've had in my right hand is really a misplaced and/or dislocated bone, and I may have to have a minor operation to be able to attend school.
-
That's not good, hopefully it will be an outpatient deal and you'll be on the road to recovery in no time.
-
Holy cow, Dan, how did you do that?
-
It's something that happened over time, my friends. They say it may've been Gym, and I can't argue that point. Thank you for your concern.
-
Well, the worst I feared that would happen has. I have to have it "excised", for it's been there so long. What it is is as little cyst (spelling may be off), but this one is unusual for its "grown" to the bone, for being there so long. Right now, I'm having a date schedule for it to be removed.
-
OH dude ive heard of that before anyways hope everything goes well dude ;D
-
Thank you. I hope this doesn't interrupt school time.(I start school Monday.)
-
I just had a brace fitted to my hand, so this wouldn't cause me pain in simple tasks. On the down side, it's difficult to do anything, such as type. It is even more difficult to write, but I am working at it. Going to the up side, I START SCHOOL TOMORROW!!!!!!!! I am very excited to get back to school. Other enrolled 'Yarders, how is your opinion of school?
-
Its okay part of its bad other part is badi start on the 6th
-
mine starts at sept 7 ;D
-
at?

I picked up a foreign treasure, yesterday! I scored €5, Some old French and Italian Coins, an Australian Half Dollar, and a Ten Pence piece larger and thicker than average, which I believe is 3/4 of an ounce of Silver. I scored a £1 Note, too. The best part is, I got the coin lot (discluding Euros and Pound Note) for only a dollar!!!!!
-
I cleaned out my closet, and reorganized it, which took six hours, but I've gotten a reward of pizza for dinner! Lol. Also, my homework is done, and front page stories are up.
-
Only a few posts until I'm promoted to Admiral! (Sorry about the excitement, I just love keeping track of these records here, for personal reminiscing one day.)
-
I'm proud to say that my book is coming along great! I am loving incorporating customs into its pages, and making them come to life. There is no greater joy!
-
comment allez-vous dan ;D
-
Je vais bien, Abshir. Ca-va?
-
In other news, my dad is trying to go back driving tractor/trailer. He's passed his physical! All he needs now is an eye-doctors approval, for he has his CDL, and he'll begin searching for opportunities!
-
-
I've been very busy due to school. I'm having a lot of fun, however. Gym class is great, especially with the football, and overall, I can't argue with this week... ;D
-
oui oui je préfère l'anglais. vous êtes d'accord ;D ;D
-
Oh la la, j'ai sommeil. Bon soir, pour maintenant, lol...
(Wow, I'm tired. Good night, for now, lol...)
-
On another note, my dad is really trying to get back on the road as a commercial driver, again. He's kept his CDL all these years, and he's hoping to get a chance to use it. He's passed his physical, and he just needs one last certificate approved and given to him, at the doctor's office, and he's going back driving!!!! I'm bursting with excitement, lol, because we had so much fun when I was little. Except now, I can help him out!
-
Update:
I've been doing well at school, as well as home. Everything's been going well. I just hope I can utilize my time well with this three day weekend, lol. ;D
-
I was just bumped up from Marshal to Admiral!
-
After almost a year of not having a working Playstation 3, my parents surprised me today with a new one! It's great to be able to play once more!!!!!!.
-
Black ops comes out in a couple of days.
-
I don't think I'll get it, lol. I'm a fan of Modern Warfare 2, as well as World at War, but the game I would truly love to get is the Sims 3. My one friend keeps telling me to buy it.
-
I purchased the Sims 3 for my Playstation, and from my experience, it's really... wierd. There really is no motive to it, so I think I may take it back, to get the Force Unleashed II.
On another note, I went to visit an friend today, and we both picked up Jodo Kast figures that he brought to my attention are available exclusively at K-Mart.
-
The Sims 3 is going well. Recently, I've snagged A LOT of new figures, so it seems Hasbro is stepping up their figure distribution.
-
get red dead redemption ! its awesome . ;D
are you online ?
-
Yes, I do have a PSN account. I'm listed on there as "gunskids".
-
I'm currently re-doing my room. I picked up this painting off of eBay, which is really cool. (I think so, anyway)
-
After a long absence from the 'Yards, I'm back. A break was just what I needed.
-
Been hopping on here more and more, lately... I keep saying I'm back, and how I've missed the 'Yards, and then dissapear for a month or two at a time, before re-appearing, but, not today... You can expect to see me on permanently again.
-
Glad to hear it buddy! Been missing you around here.
-
A LOT has changed, I see... Well, I look forward to getting reacquainted with things, here.
-
I picked up an AT-RT driver from the 41st Elite, in the Legacy Collection, yesterday. I'm quite impressed with the figures conc. rifle, as well as the unusually painted deece... I was quite satisfied by the fact that the helmet was removable, unlike its ROTS counterpart. A pretty great figure, overall.
-
Been a few months since I've posted in here... As a tradition, I mark down whenever I am ranked up. Just thought I'd mention I made Fleet Admiral today. :D
-
Haven't been around this site in quite awhile. (I've been around, just haven't really posted anything...) As of late, I've been focusing on collecting silver coins and older US banknotes, in order to turn them around and make a profit. It's actually been going quite well.
Other than that, the main reason I'm trying to make money is to go to Europe, next summer. I'm still undecided as to where, but it's looking to be either Paris, Rome, or Edinburgh. Any other suggestions are more than welcome.

Due time for another blog update; let's see:
Christmas: Things went really great; I was able to get quite a few gifts I wanted, including a Swiss Army Knife, a new watch, and quite a bit of money to spend. This was the first Christmas I actually went into my own pocket, too, in order to get gifts for my mom, dad, and friends, so it's left me feeling quite generous...
New Year's was fun, too, and as of late, my life's been dominated by school. In hindsight, choosing, "How the Roman Empire's decline allowed for the formation of a United England", as my expository essay topic in ENGLISH (not history) wasn't the best idea. It's time-consuming, and just plain exhausting since I wanted to do it accurately and thoroughly. If I had a nickel for everytime one of the seven kingdoms changed hands with Scandinavians/Danes/Vikings (what have you)...
