Disney's Star Wars Weekends
« on: May 11, 2012, 05:00:20 AM »
Hey People;

Whats up?? Sorry I have not been around, but lots going on, back injury and then knee injury.
But coming along pretty good now!!! Should be back to full health by June.

I was just wondering who if anyone is going to Star Wars Weekends in Disneyworld?

The family and I are going the 2nd weekend (may 25-27). I hope the weather will be good!!!

They have a cool thing going on this year Build A Droid, there are a bunch of parts and you can build your own Astromech droid.

Here's the link;

Hope to see you there!!!

Wow, that looks so cool. I wonder what it would cost to get one each of all the heads, torsoes, and legs they offer. Alas, right now, it doesn't look like a FL trip is in the works for me this summer unless something drastic changes.  :'(

Rich, I would love for you to do an ISY Feature on this if you do get down there. Take a ton of pics! We can even create a gallery for it and put it in our Gallery Section if you would like.

Man I went to Disneyland on Friday for my birthday, they didn't have one of these there, as I am a big droid fan , I am a little bummed that they didn't, but have fun there for me

Here are the droids my son and I built when we were at Disney/ Star Wars weekends.

We both built 3 each!!!

The lines were crazy!!!! As you can see only 4 have Mickey ears, we made those on Friday. We made 2 more on sunday and as you can see no Mickey ears cause they sold out of them!!!
The lady at the store said they sold over 10,000 droids friday and saturday!!!

So they were all out of ears!!!! But they still had the shheets so we can name our droids!!!

Wow. Looks great.

I wonder if you and Chad (Lucasclones) were there at the same time?

Look for this update on the fp tomorrow.
