Title: Star Wars Scenes - Freeze Frames
Post by: Buried Egg on June 13, 2014, 08:53:03 PM
Not sure if this qualifies as dioramas but these are recreations of scenes form the Star Wars films using only Hasbro Star Wars action figures, vehicles, and accessories. No custom furniture or props and no Photoshop:

Okay, great! I'm actually visiting with family this weekend so only have my laptop. But will upload some pics directly here when I get back home and  have access to my HD.

Also, I sent my YouTube Review of Black Series "Bespin Luke" to tamer@imperialshipyards.net with the 425 Width Embed Code. I hope that's still the way you want things submitted.

This seems like a really positive place! I'm glad to be here contributing and enjoying other people's awesome love for Star Wars!

Thanks!

Sounds great. I really like your take on realistic poses and scenes.

Thank you! I think I mentioned I did a lot of work in the film industry. The truth is that I got my real start in the comic book industry. My first design job was with Valiant Comics on the "Special Projects" team. We did all the CG touch up after the ink and color guys were done. Occasionally, some of the generous artists there allowed me to take a ink to their work (I was only 19!) and touch up and even finish things. I really think learning how to draw really exaggerated human figure poses (comic book style) helped me a lot.

So glad people are enjoying these!

Well that explains a lot. That is a pretty cool experience you had!
