Title: My collection has been stolen
Post by: User897 on December 28, 2014, 08:22:47 AM
My collection has been stolen. In November, I moved from PA back home to TX. My "friend" and I had a long-standing agreement that I would send money each month to pay for shipping my collection, as well as extra money for gas. On Christmas Day, I discovered, to my horror, that he had begun selling my toys on December 9th. I politely called and texted, with no reply. I had already sent him the first payment for shipping, so I opened a case on PayPal about that.

This makes the second time that 99% of what I own has been stolen from me. His eBay ID is frazeta1, so if you buy a toy from him, you are contributing to theft and my misery. I will never be able to recover from this one.

What's been sold so far:

1/4 Scale NECA Predator
MP-05 Masterpiece Megatron with MP5 Upgrade kit

What a crapper!
You should let eBay know about his stolen sales.
I would include a link to this thread, so they realize they are being monitored in regards to your situation.

Good idea Clint, any chance you could call the local police department where he lives to discuss the theft?

Exactly, this is a case for the police

Believe me guys I tried. The police there can't do anything about it. They went and spoke with him to no avail. Without any proof of ownership from me and being in another state, they have nothing.

I believe I would just have to show up and get my stuff back!

I would also think you might have some of your receipts to prove this stuff was yours?

The stolen "Transformers Lot" that Paul Eugene King (eBay ID frazeta1) placed on eBay contained a "loose Optimus Prime." That was the Walmart reissue of the G1 toy, and I still have the voice box that was included in the set.

Is a trip to this former friend's home not possible? And I believe I would stop by the local police office on the way there with even a few receipts (if any of this was bought online there should be a history you can search) you could probably get some help. Good luck and I hope you get some resolution!
