I didn't like the script reading during the Star Wars G4 Panel. They should have shown us new footage instead of doing that!

Saw some interesting clones in their.  Might have to check Starwars.com out, to see if any of those clones have figures coming out soon.

I mentioned seeing some really cool clones in the trailer.  If you go to the trailer, pause it at 1 minute and 46 seconds and that will give you the image of the clone.  Pretty cool.

Anyone confirm if this is still slated to run in the 9pm Friday evening time slot?

AKA the "I can never watch it live because of Dollhouse" slot?

if you are still watching things live, my friend, please consider a dvr, :)

shoot, we had cancelled cable some months back, we are reacquiring it because of all the cool stuff on this fall.

When is this show starting up?

Also, dude, you watch dollhouse?  I'm a big whedon fan, but could not get into this show.  Alpha was awesome, though.

DVR? Shucks, I only got a cell phone last year. I am a hardcore Luddite when it comes to that stuff. Plus, I am convinced that the experience is different watching a show live versus recorded. I just think your perception and attentiveness is at a heightened state for a "live" broadcast, as opposed to watching something you know you can play back over and pver if you miss something.

Show starts next week - October 2nd.

Yeah, I am very keen on Dollhouse. I am not a Whedon fan really, but I was a huge BSG fan and lots of their alumni showed up last season. I thought it was more or less ok at first, but by the end it really got engaging, and if you saw the Epitaph episode which was never broadcast on FOX, you would probably be converted on the spot. FREAKING AWESOME. Dark, apocalyptic, this show is headed in some really cool directions.

Nope, but that was a cool looking pilot. I found it ironic that the figure that was voted on here as the fan's choice showed up as a major character in that first episode.  Boy, ole Bane has to go down!

I'm sure its available online, somewhere.

I caught it, not a bad little show.

Rise of the bounty hunters?  thats the title?  a little weak, but I'm a huge bounty hunters fan. . .so its cool!

Cad Bane cracks me up, superior HTH, marksmanship, even lateral thinking. . .makes Boba look a little weak by comparision. . I can't see someone turning around and accidently pushing Cad into the Sarlaac, :D

LAME!!!  LAME!!!

That's ok, I figure if Boba is the best in the galaxy, there's room for an awful lot of stiff competition.  ;)

Hey guys I have a question about season one and didn't want to start a new thread...so here goes. Doesn't Anakin ride a beast that has an eagle like head and lion type body? I can't find any info and was wondering if someone might remember this?

he killed someone to get his armor, not sure whom.

I don't remember anikin riding a griffon, but there were a few episodes where he was on backwards planets.

Did cn change their schedual? I haven't seen the clone wars as being on for the last two Fridays but I see it's on tonight "wednsday"
UPDATE: the new episode, "Landing at Point Rain" featured a return to the planet Geonosis and had plenty of action and a few clone armor designs and decos that we haven't seen before. I noticed an alternate colored version of the snow ops clone from last season.

I am thinking this was a one time special thing.... still says regular friday schedule we are used to on CN  and SW.com.
I thought the wife or kids messed with the DVR and got rid of the recorded show when it wasnt on friday night...
It has happened alot when I am not home and really chapped my hide....
I think friday is a repeat of the wednesday night show...

granted, I did watch V the same day it aired, :)

I watched the episode last night and loved the new clones I saw including:

1. Waxer and Boil in new modified atrt and arf armor.
2. Ki Adi Mundis clone commander and clonetroopers (kind of a mix of the arctic environment suits I like)
3. Flight controller clones you see just for an instant flagging off Ywings.

Is it just me or are these guys starting to get a little beefier? They are still skinny, but don't look as emaciated as I remember the first episodes.

Well looks like tonight we get a Padawan episode. I think Ahsoka and the padawan Yoda goes to the crystal world to save in the first Clone Wars cartoon series. Illum I think it was? Anyhow they are supposed to be doing something interesting. Personally, I prefer the clones doing some air and ground clanker pounding, but to each his or her own.

These would have been some good episdoes for Halloween. Looks like next weeks is more of an Aliens storyline. With alien creepies infecting the clone crewmembers.

Looks like taking over.  The idea of Geonosian Zombies is weird, but clone zombies?  It reminds me of the one miniature Clone Wars Comic book where Mace went to rescue those clones and found they were, well, zombies.

The whole debate about obi wan wanting to see that worm crawl into luminara seemed a bit off to me. I liked the light attachments that the clones had on their helmets.
Title: Re: Clone Wars season 2
Post by: Tamer on November 21, 2009, 07:20:29 AM
Yeah, wasn't Obi Wan the one with creature dislikes and he thinks its ok to let one crawl around Luminara? Not really true to the character if you ask me. I did like the lights too.

I thought he got away in Denal's armor, then after they tracked him to the Holocron of Master Ropal, he escaped them.  That was the last I remember seeing him.
