Can anyone identify the chest piece used in this custom?
« on: June 22, 2022, 05:05:45 PM »
Like the thread states, does anyone know what the chest piece in this custom is? I've searched stars, marvel, hiyah, joytoy, etc. Every line and franchise I could think of to no luck. Please advise!

First, I thought it might be a modified version of the Boss Fight 3.75" figures:

But it's probably a different one. You can still get those bodies cheap if that'd be an alternative.
However these versions here don't have a swivel belly, which make them more similar to the custom above:

Or maybe it's based on TVC Aayla Secura as well like Elias' Sinta Nutuna here:

Philipp, it can't be Boss Fight because the vest is sculpted on to the torso if I'm seeing it right.

It looks really familiar. At first I thought Liz Sherman from Hellboy (Mezco)...but it's not. I checked Black Canary, but it's not a version of her I could find. It's not Oritoys Acid Rain (though their Civet Jessie is close) or Planet Green Valley. So...I'm stumped, but I know I've seen it somewhere. Sorry I don't have a definitive answer. Maybe Dan (the Spectre) will know, he's familiar with many toy lines.

Thank you for the correction, Starchaser. I'm not an expert on other 3.75" toy lines. Those bodies that I got came with display stands that say "boss fight studio" on them. They're listed as SHFiguarts on AliExpress. Don't know which company actually sells those...

Not a correction...just an observation. As to your figures, I know SHFigurarts does stuff, but those definitely Boss Fight Studios blanks - I have one myself.
