I'm not finished with him yet... it's so funny about forums... here you guys all said you liked the feet, the other forum I posted it on didn't like the grevious legs and feet. lol.
Sweet!! But I don't think Luke would get his butt kicked that easy...but maybe he would by this guy!
Not much of a customs guy, but there are a few out there that really peak my interest and this is one of them. It makes me want to read the comic that came with him, lol. Very nice, great detail. Love the last pic. Luke is screwed! lol.
Cool custom, but if he is a Mando Jedi Hunter, then why does he have Sith tattooing?
have you done any detailing on the face . i.e
diff hair couler
scars
skin tone
it looks great, the paint color goes with it nicely. Also what did you use to put the bantha skull onto the cloth mask?
if the next custom is as good as this one ... I CAN'T WAIT !! come on spud your customs are like crack ;D
Good work! Without the belt/robe-tails, the waist looks too small for the torso, but hey - we can't get *that* precise in small scales! Once the belt/robe-tails go on, it looks absolutely right-on!
You know that happens to me quiet often too the articulation with the clones or jedi. Usually the plastic on the star wars fig is to thick and doesnt allow for alot of range in motion I too am thinking of using soft goods to eliminate this problem great custom by the way!!
That's a beautiful upgrade to your $2 KV fig, Spud.
I like him 100% better than the comic pack version.

I agree but a soft goods version would be cool. That's one I'd like to work on myself. Can't wait to see if you get one going.
You know i never actually got the Fury fig from IM gonna have to look into that also looking into getting some of the older jedi on clearance on certain sites to use their soft goods on my stuff.
Sir thats a great set of customs the embo looks sweet with the added articulation and the bobba looks even better than before ! Ever thought of a super arti young bobba just planting a seed there he he he.
is the belt removable ?
Wouldn't it be cool to see a young Han Solo or Lando Calrisian?
You think you might paint another helmet to match the armor and add the cape? This really does look good and is so much improved over the CW version.
The paint apps are great, Devin. It looks like a mixture of red, orange, and yellow in the markings, blended just right to give it a lively look to it. Nice use of parts all around, as well!
Works for me, Spuda. Did you pull some mods on that helmet and kama?
excellent work Spud
the paint work is nice and the gray "drybrush" weathering looks great on the brown coloring
is the body from an ARC Quad-Gunner figure?
Yes, I do like it. Tell us about the double pauldron. Is that mad from two sandtrooper pauldrons?
awesome job i think it came out great hasbro probably won't even make this figure
after seeing the clone wars episode "overlords" I decided to try and make this fig. in the episode ahsoka has a vision of her older self...I can see that your creative funk isn't going anywhere soon, Devin. To me, she looks about spot on with what we seen last week on the show. Masterful work there, my friend. This one needs to be up in lights and I will make it so.
Mainly this was an experiment to create the head... then I had to figure out a decent body to put it on.
To create the older ahsoka head I took and peeled off the TCW shaak-ti's head tails. Then trimmed ahsoka's head of all of hers until I was left with just the face and ball joint. Once I had enough of the ahsoka head trimmed away I fit it up inside the shaak-ti's head tails and glued it in place. I re-painted the face and I wish I hadn't because it filled in the small seperation between the face and the head tails and in some of the images you can see this....
as for the body I used shaak-ti's arms on a ventress body. I trimmed up the sternum of ventress to remove that awkward bulge she has there... then used sculpy to re-form the stomach.
then just re-painted the entire thing and made a new belt out of ventress' belt.

This may be the best imperial ship-card ever, not even joking, this ROCKS!!!I definitely think so.... but I'm biased...
Hey, you should try to get a pic or two sent this way as a possible background for someone. A fossil could go well with some. Anyway, good luck with your internship. If your interested in what types of fossils I'll be working with here is a link to Fossil Butte Nation Monument's NPS homepage:
just so you guys know I'm not dead... I'm still around... lurking... but not as much on the forum as just face book.... I don't get enough time online out here...
but I did find time to go to salt lake city and get this done:
