Anyone else gettn this game for PS3?!  Looks like it'll kick the crap out of the KOTOR MMORPG....wish we had a STAR WARS game like this...256 players on at the same time in one battle HOLY ****!!!

I plan on picking it up. I have been jonesing for this ever since Zipper dropped out of the Socom franchise. I only wish that there was a 3rd person perspective choice. I prefer that to the first person shooters.

I too, have been playing this beta some. It does seem pretty sweet even though  I have only seen a couple of maps. I still can't get over the feeling that I would prefer a 3rd person shooter to a 1st person shooter. I may have to put Socom confrontation in for another try and see if they got the kinks ironed out.

I don't own a PS3, so I'll never play this. I'm waiting for Mass Effect 2 and Halo: Reach.

Also, Mass Effect 2 will most likely overshadow the release of this game, because they're being released on the same day.
