I just wanted to share a non-Star Wars custom I did. I am also into Super Mario Bros. and a few years ago I did a Fire Mario custom. I found another figure and turned it into Ice Mario, a new power-up in the series. Ice Mario is the same as Fire Mario, except he can shoot ice balls and freeze his enemies. I prefer Fire Mario, but I think this custom looks better then my Fire Mario custom. These figures seem to be made from some sort of wax, so it can be a bit hard to paint. The company that made these figures was Applause, dated 1989.

Looks like some pretty tedious paint work here. Nice!

Yeah it took a little more time then I thought it would, but still fun to do. The blue seems to 'stick' better on this figure then the white when I did the Fire Mario custom. What's cool is turning an old figure into something modern.
