Has anyone had the misfortune of seeing this "movie"? Plan Nine from Outer Space" is a far better movie. If you want see it , let me know and I'll sent you the DVD. Don't waste your money! at pt

Was this one kinda like a home video taken as the city is decimated by a huge monster? I watched it and can see why some wouldn't like it much. I hear they are making another!

When I see a monster movie, I want to see the monster!! Not a brief glance of it or the tail disappearing behind a building. People running up and down the street with a video camera and screaming " What do we do" just does not do it for me. It would have been great to see"Clover" battle with the Statue of Liberty and knock her head off , not just see it land in the street. The only redeeming part of the movie is that everyone dies! I guess I've seen too many good GODZILLA movies!!!! "Killer Clowns From Outer Space" now that was a great bad movie. I was afraid to go to Santa Cruz for years! cloverfield was really original in my opinion i just wished they let us WTF was that creature were it comes from whtf is killing us all !! if we to sit and watch them survive for 2 and half hours we might as well get some answer , and noo a microscopic thing falling into the ocean does not count as explanation, so great orignality but lack of storytelling !

Excellent points Alex. I feel the same way. If they do make a second movie, maybe they can do a few flashbacks to show us some of the history to fhe monster and then do a tie in with the "Blair Witch Project" style of documentary with the camcorder. I think this time though, they probably ought to make it a military search and destroy type mission, kind of in the spirit of the movie Alien 2 and then I thought it might be interesting for Godzilla to show up to fight such a creature. You know, fight a big baddy with another big baddy.
