Your customs are very well done, and your posing and photography are quite stunning. The lighting and the angles are well thought out, and truly compliment how well these customs are made.
Very original presentation. Thanks for sharing and welcome to the Yards.
-
great job on Thire, Rys and Jek
the weathering looks perfect
-
Love that photograph of Thire & his troops, looks like it jumped straight out of the Clone Wars TV show.

Check out my custom Clone Wars Obi-Wan, Commander Cody, Waxer & Boil in my new diorama
(http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4007/4666455333_566027132c_b.jpg) (http://www.flickr.com/photos/vader9900/4666455333/)
Obi-Wan is the basic figure with legs from Freeco Speeder Obi-Wan, now he is super articulated. Waxer, Boil and Cody have been battle damaged to look more like the cartoon.
-
Turned out awesome and the figures look awesome in it!
-
What more can I say that I haven't already said before? Nice, clean, well done like a $30 steak.... But, honestly, the background and the superb photgraphy stole the show.
Simply put, gorgeous!
Barry

Oh hell Vader, that is too much! your atttention to detail is really off the scale...
Please lets see some WIP images...I'd love to see the materials and what the dio looks like from afar...
Jules

Vader, you are producing some of the best creations I've seen in recent months, sorry everyone else, but c'mon...smoke coming out of the floor! talk about detail!
Absolutely amazing...You are on the Front Page yet again!

Thank You! vadsab
-
Dave, I think this is my new favorite photo from you! Congrats on the front page too!
-
great stuff man. I love seeing others use the joe parts! I love that boba. I may have to make one on the same general recipe! I've used the reactive armor torsos for mandos before but never to try and make boba himself.... now I feel kinda stupid.
the other figs are great too, I love the death trooper.

And I thought the COD: World at War Nazi Zombies looked good... seems as though this is my new favorite zombie, Lord Vader.

-
Commander Fox is stock (I had to buy him off ebay, he cost to much for me to dirty him up) the Coruscant Guards have been given my weathered treatment. Not so much showing off the customs, just thought it was a pretty picture!
(http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4121/4803893034_0beb0948fa_b.jpg) (http://www.flickr.com/photos/vader9900/4803893034/)

Dude now you are showing off...
My kids use the word "sick" to describe something they like and I could never understand how something could be referred to in that way until now.... Man, that really is SICK, in the most awesome of ways...
-
Thanks guys! vadsab
I made this base over a year ago, originally for a GI Joe figure (why there is a knife in the stump) but I like it better with this guy on it. Here are a few more I did: http://www.flickr.com/photos/vader9900/sets/72157619128351939/

Ron
-
wow..nice custom!!
-
The EMP trooper is a fantastic custom Lord Vader
great job on the stand
-
Why is it that everytime that I see your work, someone or somebody appears to have crapped in my pants?
I really don't care for that, but it's a small price to pay to see Grade A customizing. Your bases are freakin sick, dude.
How dare you waltz around, with God-like abilities, amongst mortals flaunting your amazing skills. You disgust me, possessing the talents of many, all in one truly gifted body. I hope you can sleep at night.
Just jerkin your chain, man. I'm blown away every single time by your outstanding work.
Barry

Preview of a display I have been working on. Wasn't sure where to put this since it has a custom figure, custom vehicle and a diorama. The speeder bike is the POTF flavor, it has been a real pain in the butt, but I think it turned out pretty good.
(http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4073/4819161887_b81be592bb_b.jpg) (http://www.flickr.com/photos/vader9900/4819161887/)

-
You keep getting better and better my Lord
The speeder bike dio is my favorite of your dioramas so far. Can't wait to see more.
great job
-
"Lord Vader, your 74-Z Speeder Bike on the diorama looks so awesome...the Imperial Army becomes stronger..." I am still waiting for a good version of this vehicle and you painted it like the original movie version, but Hasbro will never do such a grat work as you did in their mass production. It's so special when you have talent to create such unique pieces of work...then you are independent of Hasbro's price mark. Hasbro could do better vehicle paints, if they would investigate a bit more, but we as collectors always have to spend more and more, instead. Well, the development of the Basic Figure line still takes good progress...
The whole diorama looks impossible great...Look Hasbro how real masters work!
And thank you, too, for your kind words. I'll be posting a few more pictures, today!

This is an old custom, I just found the other day in a box of stuff. Let me see if I can remember what he is made from: I made him around 2004 when the Original Trilogy Collection came out. I think he still stands the test of time as my Ultimate Empire Strikes Back Yoda. He is made from the Vintage OTC Yoda body (is there a better Yoda body yet?). I used the POTF2 cooking pot Yoda (I think it was the flashback) head with the real hair. I trimed the hair because it was way too long. I had to cut off the neck and dremel out the head to fit on the ball joint of the OTC body. I used the OTC flute and cane. The robe and belt are from a Vintage 1980 Yoda. I would like to find a better belt for him. The base was from one of the OTC Dagobah figures that was painted and turf and grass was added. I think that is acurate, it has been 7 years since I made him. He is still my favorite Yoda figure, he has been "lost" for a couple of years when I moved. I am glad I found him!

BTW, I hope to start posting more here, you guys rock! I have just been so busy....

I really like your Dio stands.that's really what i'm into doing as well.I don't need a huge diorama for all my fig's,just a small scene,to best suit that particular figure.great job,and i'd love to see more.
-
I am sure that won't take long to sell.
-
I remember when you made this one, Very well done! Your photography skills really bring this custom to life.
-
This is awesome!
-
:o That tree stub is AWESOME!!! Nice paint apps on both the clone and tree stub.
-
Love the new dio and that airborne trooper looks great; nice color choices.
I really enjoy seeing the paint details that go into peoples' customs and your attention to the chest plate/pauldron looks great. I like that it looks like a leather feature now than the black plastic Hasbro gives us.
Awesome piece!
-
I've seen this piece of great work in real life and I've gotta say your pics are great!
-
Man great stuff, I love your paint work and the dioramas really are sweet. Can't wait to check out more of your work, also what kind of power supply are you using for your LED lights on the dioramas?
