man looking at that photo got me thinking about that self custom and I don't know why I didn't think of it when I did it... but I devinately need to make a couple of my potato guns I did years ago in 3.75" scale for that self custom of mine...

While I'm off on this tangent, here is a look into my OLD hobby... once I move back to my parents I think I'll get a couple of these back out and get them back up in working order:

this was back when I was in high school still!  lol look how small I was... god I need to go on a diet!

here's a few more of my old guns...

you guys can check out my ancient website, from when I was in high school!, if you don't mind dealing with pop ups and hellishly embedded adds, and horrible navigation....  it's through this link:

http://www.cherryspotatoguns.150m.com/

you might be able to see more potato gun pics at my old ancient photobucket page as well... it's under spudmaster

heres another blast from my past... it's a custom lightsaber hilt and blade I built from scratch in my garage:

just some interesting junk thought you guys might like... nice deviation from regular old customs... lol

That is damn cool, I've always wanted to make a saber(being a jedi and all), but never did it.

Segnett and I have matching parksabers, but thats about as close as I got.

That thing is...lemme see...thirty years old now. Give or take a year.

Fett, your parents must have been so proud!

lol more than once they told me that they didn't understand my obsession with making potato launching cannons...  I have one that is 10" in diameter and 20 feet long... it launches soccer balls!
ALL my cannons used propane as an accellerant and stun guns for the spark to ignite it!   ;D

The also told me more than once that I'd built some things that they would never have been able to conceptualize...  fun thing about my parents was they enjoyed a good explosion as much as I did!  We's good fun luvin down home country folks  :P

Spud,

At around the same age I was making "Bongs" out of chemistry equipment and shopping trolleys!

Haha, those cannons are awesome, spudd! I can't believe you made one that launches soccer balls, you HAVE to make a video of that if you still have it and put it on youtube! Sweet lightsaber, too... are those animal bones of some sort I see adorning your gun and lightsaber? Lol!

Oh, and Jules, I love how you've made your name into a verb here... "You've been hangarbay'd"   Hilarious!

those bones are actually cleaned cow bones. lol.  I picked them up one year when we deer hunted in at an old cow farm.  They had several skeletons sitting around the edges of the fields.  I took the vertebrae home as I figured they'd be cool to use for something...  I also used to do some sculpting in bone with my dremel.  Idk if I have any pics of the stuff I made though...

thanks for the comments guys.  Once I get back to my parents I think I have a video saved on my old computer of that soccer ball cannon.  It was allways a bugger to get to launch correctly but if I can get it running again I'll get a video too!

Hangarbay... I thought the term was "off your rocker?".... lol

My slave ahsoka... the one that caused such a ruckass!...  sold on e-bay.  The buyer requested that among other things (repainting the figure all orange without the "details") for me to give her an alternate outfit resembling that of slave leia's... so... I did:

well... do you think it works?  I hope so... I can't fix it now if it doesn't, put it in the mail today!
