Looks good Devin. Time to go to the front page with you again. That added weaponry is killer. I can't wait to see this with the jellyfish symbol on it too. Nice work.

Sorry spud, but I'm gonna go ahead and say I'm not a fan of this one... As far as replicating the titanium's style goes, you did a really good job, but I personally think you should have totally scrapped the hasbro/lucas design and made up your own paint scheme. I think some flat finish Earth-tones in a non-jackson-pollock design would have been awesome. Maybe made it look like the guns were wrapped in leather or something, haha! But, that's just my opinion... Again, for what you were going for, you hit right on the mark. Oh also, I am totally digging the addition of all those guns... I think mine might be receiving something similar one day, my Guri needs a ship with teeth, I think! Oh by the way, that R2 costume... Priceless!

thanks xv... the more i thought about it the more I wanted to stay as cannon as I could with this.  I think it came out well considering the source material.

I love this ship though.  It's probably my favorite vehicle of all of them, second would be the gen. grevious starfighter.  I think I'm going to probably do another custom of this ship in my own unique color schemes.

thanks for the comments and especially the constructive criticism from XV!  I love to hear about what you guys dislike about a custom just as much as I like hearing praise about the good things!!  like most artists I usualy judge the successfullness of my work by what is not liked rather than what is!

I'm in XV's camp - I think you did a bang-up job replicating your source material, but I don't care for the source material.  I believe that once you launch out on your own scheme for one of these ships, you will have a show-stopper.

I'm thinking that if cad bane got this as payment then aura sing probably got one too... I think my next project dealing with one of these will customizing it for an aura sing custom I've been wanting to do for a long long time

aura sing only is ever shown with the swoop bike as her vehicle as far as I know...  if anyone knows better please let me know

I also don't like the titanium paint scheme and for this reason haven't picked that one up. you did a nice job emulating that paint job but I think a shadowish paint job with some gunship looking sharkteeth would be cool looking on this one.
Yeah, I agree with you and really like the lines on the Grievous ship also. It is one of my favorite prequel ships.

a shadowed job would look nice...

I've been wanting to do a shadow commando droid for a prequel custom and a shadowized magnaguard starfighter would be the perfect ship to go with it...  interesting idea...

come to think of it I wonder what the new commando droid's head would look like on a magnaguard body...?  anyone got an extra couple of those laying around?  I'm going to loose my only magnaguard fig in an auction on e-bay if it will sell...

Great job on the fighter!! It looks very close to the Titanium series one. A+

Why go through life base fig, when you can customize?

Interesting paint job, funnily enough, seeing the model taken apart makes me realise that the original model must have been made using parts from a P38 Lightning, the mid wing section with the twin boom looks very similar.

Oh and what's that black looking xwing mod in the background, that looks very interesting?

That black thing in the background is the x-wing turned drag-speeder... stay tuned for more of it later on this week...

I like the red repaint of the magnaguarrd fighter, and the added weapons...
and it ends there.
not a fan of the titanium paint scheme either....
yours is better, but not quite there either... I cant really say how to make it better, but i thought it looked better just red.
I like the xwing better after the added paint also.
really nice work.
