I could see ripping off the bases and just using the bones in many a style of diorama.

Found some Twilight Zone figures at Target. I had these in my EE cart but they sold out before I checked out. The Invader is my favorite, cool design, cool episode and hed make a cool spacer background character. To serve man is the metallic chase variant, so thats cool. I like they gave him his human cookbook.

After work Family Dollar score!

This is a real blast from the past as it has been quite a long time since actual Chap Mei "Pirates" product has been on the shelves in America!

This set has the cave mini playset that I do not believe ever actually made it to the states before so it warranted the pick up.

The Invader could totally work for an Ugor encounter suit.  :)

Really nice finds, gentlemen! Congrats to that Target score, JDeck! I'm glad you got a second chance even at retail after etail failed once again. Gotta love those bots online.

I don't think they're bots. I think these are reissues, I've seen them on ebay for $100. I went back to get the gremlin from terror at 20000 feet and all they had left was talky tina.

I found the Jurassic World Chaos Outpost at Target this evening. If I get a moment tomorrow, I'll unbox it and take some pictures. It was $54.99 and includes a dinosaur and a human figure. Not too bad.

As promised:

There are applications for GI Joe, JoyToy, Fortnite, really any of the 1/18 scale lines. I included several Imperial troopers in the pictures and the last one, the Imperial Troop Transport, just to communicate scale. The guy in shades is the included action figure and the dinosaur (in the cage) is a Pyroraptor. There are several other ways to configure the gates include a complete (but very small) triangular enclosure and each of the three gate sections radiating off the base of the tower in a different direction. I'm pretty happy with it.

Wow, yepper that looks like it would make a great playset for any line. I can see why you picked it up. Reminds me of some of the stuff we saw in Obi Wan.

I remember that you'd been interested in this set since it was announced. Dan shared images of it right away and I really appreciate that he keeps us updated with the latest of news. MATTEL do a great job on the JW line. I mean they made several childhood dreams finally come true like a 1/18 scale Brachiosaurus.
This set does look good as an Imperial facility, indeed! I think the fact that the Imperial Troop Transport fits through the gate is one of the biggest wins. It fits really well with your Imperial customs and the MRSP is also reasonable - especially compared to Hasbro's TVC playsets.
And I just love your backyard. Everything looks nice and I think I could spend hours playing with figures and vehicles there. Good times.
Congrats on that fort, have a great weekend and thanks for sharing!

I could see you adding a second one once it goes on clearance.  :D

Today's Walmart score!

Zurg was on clearance as someone had popped the straps holding his arms down and must have been playing with it and didn't but it.

The skeletons are great aside from their bendy tails (not a fan of bendy stuff). They are pretty big and were only $4.88 each. The dinosaurs I have seen before but the Griffen is new.

These skeletal creatures from Family Dollar are a bit lower in quality than the ones from Walmart, but for $3 each they are great!

The fish has a hinged jaw and the dragon has swivel head and wings in addition to the hinged jaw. My favorite thing about these are that the dragon's tail is made from the same hard plastic as the rest of the figure instead of the bendy wired rubber of the Walmart ones. .

Hilariously, the dragons use the goat skull from the same company's skull bag from last year instead of the usual dragon skull. When I bought a ton of the skull bags last year, I did so because with the ears removed, the goat skulls look like dragon skulls. I guess the company thought they were close enough as well LOL

I found this today on one of the blocks of my route. It is a "Masters Of The WWE Universe" Castle Greyskull Wrestling Ring! It is only missing the stairs. The sticker is trashed but I really don't care. It needs a good cleaning as it has crayon/marker marks all over but should work well for diorama pieces when clean :)
