Nice Rex

I picked up a new Iron Maiden shirt at Hot topic.
Apparently this is a reprinted tour shirt of some type for last years tour
The image is from the two Min to Midnight single release.

Man, that shirt looks badass - I mean it's Iron Maiden. Excellent find!

I got a Funko Batman 3.75 Mr. Freeze. He's based on 1966 season 2 Mr. Freeze played by Otto Preminger. The articulation is good for Funko, usually they're 5poa. Ball joint head, ball jointed shoulders, pin jointed elbows, pin jointed knees, swivel hips. He comes with his freeze gun, which looks pretty wild. Originally I bought him for custom fodder, but I think he'd make a "cool" background character. He has a groovy 60s sci fi look.

Nice to see the arty improving on these Funko figures.

I think for this Batman line they're trying to make the figures like the Toy biz figures I grew up with in the late 80s early 90s. They all  had metal pin joints. The Toy Biz line was based mostly on the comic books.

Nice find JDeck! I’m glad FUNKO can do better than their 4” Game of Thrones figures...

This will probably be my FINAL haul photo for the foreseeable future as I have more or less retired from collecting due to my recent life events :(

I couldn't call it quits without adding this enormous beastie to my menagerie first though.

Ordered it on Target's website last night and picked it up at the store after work.

I am going to enjoy opening this monster up after dinner :)

Nice Dan. I know your latest news has you out of collecting for awhile, but I bet a beasty or new action figure might tickle your fancy down the road. Or you could sell off some of your trade fodder for new collectibles.

I am redoing my Swap Shop tomorrow and will hopefully use that to get new stuff. I may still pick up some stuff here and there, but it will not be often and not anywhere near as grand as my usual hauls.

Thursday Mail Call!

I ordered this WAYYYYYYYY back in April and feared it was lost in transit from Germany as it was almost 2 months past the expected delivery date. I had honestly almost forgotten about it so I was pleasantly surprised when it showed up today.

This Sea Creature is produced by Plastoy, and is out of production. It is an unarticulated figurine made of a fairly rigid vinyl, firmer than Safari Ltd. but not quite as rigid as Schleich.

As you can see in the picture with the "Fortnite" figure, it scales well with 1/18 action figures.

I got a Funko Escape from the Planet of the Apes Cornelius Astronaut. He's 5poa, the sculpt is pretty good. He comes with a space helmet, but he can''t hold it. He will make a cool star wars spaceman.
