I just picked up a Lando today and completely agree about the cape and clasp.  Regrettably I don't have a spare chain so I can't modify it, but I like your idea.

I agree that daggone cape was awful and even looked awful in the package when I saw this on the pegs so I left it there.

Your fix has improved it greatly. Is it just me or is it a tad too long? It sure looked that way to me when I saw it on the pegs.

Good job Spooky, I think you could easily make 1 cape and 1 dress from all the material they gave us on Lando's robe.
