Here's General Lando Calrissian using a vintage Gen Madine body, vintage Lando head and custom vinyl cape
-
Nice work! The plastic cape adds to the vintage feeling... :)
-
I like it! Off to share.

Thanks Starchaser,
I've had an Imperial Stormtrooper without a cape for the longest time, so I got a hold of some white synthetic material the same thickness as a vinyl cape and made it using that material
-
Very nice customs.
-
Cape looks good, did you just trim it out using scissors?

Yes Tamer just cut with scissors, except for the four tiny holes, I had to punch them out with a punch tool
Very nice customs.
Thanks TBC

Some friends of mine wanted these made for their figures so here are some samples
-
Makes sense to me and they look great. What size do these turn out to be when made for six inch figures? I take it you can still print them using a regular printer? I hope you will show us how these look when the bubbles are added. Off to share.
-
Great idea and execution! It's probably a good choice to switch the logo to the side to have more space for the figure... :)
I've thought about cards for 6" figures as well in the past....but the main problem (for me, at least) remains the bubble size...haven't found anything usable in that regard yet...
-
From what I think I am seeing, are these cards the same size as regular vintage cardbacks for 3.75" figures? I do agree this would push the 6" line to totally new levels.
-
Very cool idea ! I agree the logo looks better to the side of the card . I do not collect the 6 inch like at all but i would like to see these with the figure mounted as i to am curious about the blister myself !
-
Awesome cards mate this is how I think the 6" and 3-3/4" BS should be shown on.

Thanks Tamer, they are 9" tall same height as a standard card back but the width is larger to fit the blister and photo, so its almost the same size as a deluxe figure cardback

yes the blister bubble was the main issue no one has it, solution, had to make it

Sweet, it makes so much sense for Hasbro to do these.

Agree Hasbro needs to do these

My astromechs were in dire need of some work, so we have a green R2 unit, red R5 unit with blue stripe legs, and a yellow R5 unit
-
Sweet. Vintage customs rock!

Really nice job on the Snowtrooper - the kama came out great. You did a nice job on the droids as well. Its fun to watch what you are coming up with for the truly vintage figures.

So I had some left over pieces from the Snowtrooper and had enough to do a Leia cape
