Help
« on: March 03, 2012, 05:57:46 AM »
Guys, I could use some help...what is the best way to pop open a Clone Trooper body to remove the arms, while till keeping the body intact to be used again?
Thanks much in advance! :)

The only way to do it is to cut open the torso at the weld seams. I start at the shoulder and cut along the line to the neck. Then I go to the arm pit and cut down the side of the torso. Some times you can pop it apart from there otherwise make the same cuts on the other side and you will have 2 halves. Good luck, be careful and use a sharp blade.

sprywalker is right.  That's the only way when it's a hard plastic "clam shell" torso.  which is what is used on the storm troopers and clones in the movie lines.

However, the clone wars figures are mostly a soft rubbery one piece mold...

If it's a rubbery 1 piece torso you'll have to boil and pop the arms out...  but that's not the case for what your working on most likely.
