Looks good to me. I am still on the fence about getting the Vader one of these. This one is now up for pre-order.

What do you guys think of these? Pat, did you ever bite and get some of these. I must say they look awesome and I do plan to get at least the Boba I have out for display in my  new set up, but am wondering if anyone else besides me owns any of these.

I only have the small vintage Stormie, and have it displayed in an evolution line next to the POTF2 and a modern figure. Maybe one day I'll get some more Imperials. But I'm not really a fan of the oversized 12" figures.

I got an awesome deal on the 12" Vintage Stormie I couldn't pass on. Now I'll have to see how this oversized TK looks in person as soon as it arrives...

It looks like the old Kenner Vintage Carded Figures. I wondered if you would ever bite on these and now I see I have had my question answered. I look forward to seeing what you think.

I'm a bit afraid I won't like the big bobble looking Stormie. I do have the 3" Vintage Stormie but this oversized figure will show all the faults of the little guy. Next week on Wednesday it will be here.

If you like the vintage figures at all, I bet you will like it. I do like mine!

I never collected vintage figures. I would like to get the Imperials one day but I have more important things now. I only have the vintage stormtrooper, which is ok in this scale.

Well looks like Yoda is gonna be on a special TESB Carback that supposedly has a resealable bubble (per SW Insider) so there is one more I will be adding to my Vintage Retro Collection.

They are also gonna offer a Gonk Droid too.

Spry,

these Gentle Giant  offerings are just fantastic. After getting two for my collection I decided I would get any that had the TESB Cardback on em. I have the C6 lando coming and have already pre-ordered both the Yoda and the Rocket Firing Fett. I know the Fett won't be on the TESB Cardback like the one I have, but that one is too good to pass up. I may bite the big one and order a Vader soon too. Hoping to see more TESB Cards though.

And folks, I just posted in the MWC Store Thread, but they are already selling these for about $20 cheaper than ordering from GG directly. I don't know how they can, but I sure ain't questioning it.

Man I've been hiding myself away from these to avoid temptation - but I'm going to dive in and grab myself a Bespin Luke when he is released!!!

Be careful. I tempted myself with these when I was at CV. Now, I can't stop trying to get all the TESB ones. I am such a dummy. Now I am envisioning a new shelf display with just these.

That image is really cool, but hurtful at the same time.  I am reminded of the Jumbo Vinyl Cape Jawa I had to sell.  Argh.  I'll never get that one back.

Wow, I bet that one does hurt.

Still, these are about as cool as they get for true vintage nostalgia. I mean they even make sure the factories who make these don't get rid of the cast lines, etc. to keep them as true to the original Kenner Figures as possible.

About the only problem I have with them is their size, but I am trying to figure out a display shelf just for these based on as many as I want.

Pat and I were on this same fence when we were at CV. I feel of it and got them and it has been downhill ever since. They really are just perfectly matched to their original vintage counterparts.

And yet another great Hoth Offering:

I got hooked on these and I cannot wait to get a total display made for them. I probably need to wait till they offer that Wampa, but this is definitely one I am adding to my own collection.

An AT-AT Driver and maybe a TI Pilot would be the only ones I consider getting except the Stormtrooper I already have

I wish I would have stuck to that. I do like em though.

The Vintage Jumbos are nice, but they are too expensive and too big, especially if someone collects them carded. The Stormie, TIE Pilot and AT-AT Driver would be enough for me, there are other items I'd get before looking for other Jumbos.
