Yeah, this is definitely among your best.  Both the little version and this new big version...the base and display is what totally blows me away.  Too bad this isn't an official design...I'd want two of these guys to cover the troops in the forthcoming Big AT-AT.  Brilliant work as always Ron.

Hi All

New to this forum and just thought that I would show you all the figure's that I have done over the years, some of you know my work already but for those that haven't enjoy and comments are always welcomed.

I have added a link as there are alot of pics so I figured that this would be the best way for you all to see them.

Hi All

Started on the dewback and rider the other day and thought that I would show some pics. As you all know I can't stand joints being shown so I used a clay mixed with wood glue to fill in the joints.

The saddle is made using thin cork board then covered in leather and the bum rest is from a WW2 German life jacket. I'm going to pack this dewback and rider with heaps of gear as I'm going to make it a long recon unit.

Hi All

Well I think the dewback is loaded up enough except for one more water battle. The rider has all his gear as well and now I just have to start painting and weathering.

Hemble, your creations are in a completely different league...Posting these on sites like Armourama would seriously put to shame every one of thhose WW2 diorama guys and they are fussy as hell on the detail. The detail on your work is just stunning.

I'd love to see one of these in the flesh as I am sure that your photo's do not do them justice (not that the photography is bad, but I just get the feeling that your work would look even better in the flesh)...

I couldn't agree more Jules. This already looks fantastic. On the front page again. I need to find some time to get your atat gunner up for our custom of the week too.

Ron I'm always in awe of your work, where ever you post it.

I hope that whoever ends up with this Dewback should wear an ascot and introduce it as a "Masterpiece!"  Marvelous!

Brilliant start Ron. The extra baggage looks awesome. Indeed this will soon be another masterpiece! and I don't really like the sculpt of that Dewback but I know you will make it look so much better.
