This pair would have made a good comic pack.   Sadly, those days have passed.

I would love to argue with you on this, but can't. Ain't it sad!

Thanks Fellas.

I think it would have made more sense as a comic pack than the re-painted Tarkin, Han, Luke, Chewie and Stormtroopers that represented the MARVEL era comics. Oh the genius that permeates the Hasbro halls...    ;)

Awesome job on Crimson Jack. I have that comic. As I have said before...Hasbro has missed the boat on SO MANY of these awesome character opportunities.

Pretty awesome ideas here, per your usual!  I love seeing what parts you find to piece these guys together; deciphering the puzzle is half the fun!
I'm not as familiar with these tow, but interesting concepts nonetheless.  Good to see your stuff permeating the boards again!

Light side, dark side...meh.  Just give me a lightsaber and a blaster and I'll take care of it!

Thanks fellas! I'm actually working on the real things. I've got several MARVEL Star Wars characters on the workbench. I'm trying to find a happy medium between my own interpretation and the classic looks of these characters.

That would be an awesome set! Takes me WAY back.
I dabble in the Star Wars Universe of Toys... I rip apart little plastic people and turn them into other plastic people. Sometimes I take pictures of them and post them.

DS, I am loving this series and hope to see this continue. Is this latest offering newer work? Have you done any of his concept work for say Episode 7 or The Old Republic, etc? Your graphic work is just top notch.

Thanks cj I love the old MARVEL days... except towards the end, they kind of slid off a little. Keep your eyes open here there's more to come.

Thanks again Tamer! This stuff is old. Were still many years back. This graphics work was some of my very first, I was just learning. My drive was fueled by the old argument that MARVEL Star Wars was the worst and silly and so on. I always said that was subjective to one's own imagination... which was pretty much the case with most comics of old, especially the 1970s. My goal was and still is to show them in a more realistic light. More in the way I can see them in my head. Those comics based their stories off of all types of things. The Jaxxon story line was a loose re-telling of the "Magnificent Seven". Could it be better? Maybe, but you make it what you want.

There are no E7 or Old Republic concepts yet. I have thought of doing newer stuff, but haven't had a lot of time to do it. My computer that I usually do this stuff at is down too. I'm able to start it in safe mode so I pulled these images off with my external HD so I could post something. I'm using the house lap-top now. I could do some stuff with this but I'm too busy using my free time on actually making these MARVEL characters into real customs. (Keep your eyes out for my custom figures thread.)

In the meantime Han Solo was in a "Magnificent Seven" type situation with Jaxxon and the gang fighting off a Swoop Biker Gang...    Let me remind everyone that this was the first look at a Speeder Bike. These stories were out between ANH and TESB, pretty innovative for a dumb MARVEL story. Of coarse in this story line we also see a green 7' rabbit way before Green 7' pigs and a space bikini clad Amaiza before a space bikini clad Leia and an old armor clad Jedi far before the Clone Wars cartoon concept....   and in walks a homage to Godzilla himself...   Way before the Zilla Beast from the Clone Wars was conceived....    check em' out...
