Help me identify this, please.
« on: July 14, 2019, 01:57:54 PM »
I'd like to use this topic for everyone who cannot identify a figure, a vehicle or just a single part or accessory of Hasbro'sStar Wars action figure line.

In 2015 forum member djhurt1 already started a similar topic:

http://www.imperialshipyards.net/SMF/index.php?topic=9756.msg185044#msg185044

A thank you goes to him and to Tamer for making me aware of the search function of the fourm, which I haven't known about until today!

I hope you'll find this topic helpful.

Usually I can successfully find every product on the following forums:

http://rebelscum.com/hasbro.asp

http://jedibusiness.com/MasterList

http://jedibusiness.com/toylines.aspx

JediBusiness actually has several tools to assign a figure. Just select the suitable tool under "categories" on top of the page.

So last week I sold some Sandpeople of the figures I got with some lots and smaller collections.
There was one Tusken Raider among them which I just couldn't identify.
It has a 2005 date stamp and a brown soft goods skirt that's sewed on the figure. This fact lets me suppose that also the brown robe came with the figure.

Do you know when this Tusken was released? I initially thought it was a pack-in figure with the TAC Bantha Battle Pack, but it wasn't. Update: Yes, it is! Thanks to JDeck for the hint!

Thanks for your support!

I believe it's the rider from the TAC Bantha Battle pack. There is a brown rider variant.

Thank you so much for your instant support, JD! I really appreciate it! It took me one minute of research on startpage pictures and there I found evidence. I couldn't find any pics on rebelscum or jedibusiness though, which happens super seldom.
Well, jedibusiness have added this variation set somewhere...

I'll check my Bantha Battle Pack and see which version I got. Thanks again!

It is hard to believe all the variants out there. Still remember the white faced Meena Tills craze that happened for the ROTS Line.

Anyhew, glad you figured it out quick like. Good ole JDeck.

I found this clean Captain Rex in my fodder box. It has a shot printed on the left chest. I cannot find good reference online. Do you know which version it is? Is it the mail-away Rex or maybe from the Hunt of Grievous Battle Pack? There are only photos with the shoulder pauldron on covering the chest.

UPDATE:

It's indeed from the Hunt for Grievous 3-Pack!

Yep! That's the figure. If you look at the GalacticFigures.com database you will find that they confirm the blastmark on the chest underneath the pauldron.
