Produced by Happy Kin Toys/Lontic/Tedco and sold under various brand names (most often seen under the "Kid Galaxy" banner) by various manufacturers, these articulated dinosaurs/animals/sea life are great, inexpensive toys.
I first noticed them while doing site coverage of Toy Fair a few years back but only started seeing them pop up in brick and mortar stores 2 years ago, most often showing up at close out/discount stores like TJMaxx and Marshalls. These toys are often found at gift shops in museums, aquariums and zoos. They are also available from several online retailers like Amazon, Walmart and Pure Fun Supply as well as direct from Tedco.
The most often encountered sets are various 3pks, but they can also be found single boxed or in larger sets ranging anywhere from 4 to 12 animals/dinosaurs/sea life in a box.
The plastic quality is decent, thinner than Chap Mei, but better than the cheap Chap Mei knock-offs that pop up every holiday season. The paint apps are often crisp and clean aside from some occasional sloppy apps on the teeth and eyes.
Many of their early dinosaurs are bootlegs of old Hasbro "Jurassic World III" figures (easily identified by their painted over but still part of the sculpt wounds), but later figures were original sculpts. All of their animals and sea life figures are original sculpts.
They also produce static vinyl dinosaur figurines in 2 sizes representing the species from the articulated line (in matching or complimentary color schemes) as well as species that have not yet been released in the articulated line, possinly hinting at future releases.

Just a head's-up:
The Kid Galaxy branded Lontic/Tedco Safari Action 3pks currently showing up at TJMaxx/Marshalls have a previously undiscovered refresh/variant. In the set with the elephant and cheetah, the African Ox previously packed with them has been replaced with a hippo.

I saw this news on Facebook and shared it. Thanks for sharing it here.

There are 2 new Lontic/Tedco Dinosaur Action 10Packs available at BJs Wholesale Club for $17 each.
These sets are a mixture of articulated plastic action figures (2 per 10pk) and static vinyl figurines (8 per pack). The plastic action figures are common Lontic/Tedco releases while the majority of the vinyl figurines have not been readily available in any other packs.

I was killing some time in Paramus tonight waiting for my wife to get out of class and hit TJ Maxx on Rt17.
They had 3 "new" sets of Kid Galaxy branded Lontic/Tedco articulated dinosaur 3pks for $12.99 but I passed on them as all of the sets were full of dinosaurs that have been previously released multiple times just in new set combinations.

Marshalls has a new Kid Galaxy branded Lontic/Tedco dinosaur 3pk!

Marshalls/TJMaxx are getting remixed 3pks of "Kid Galaxy" branded Lontic/Tedco dinosaurs containing some very hard to find figures!
The top right and bottom middle and right figures have previously only been available in bulk warehouse exclusive 6pks but are now showing up in wider release.

New "Kid Galaxy" branded Lontic/Tedco/Happy Kin Toys 6pks ($13.99 EACH) at Costco!
2 new dinosaur sets (1 includes a brand new feathered dino while the other includes a brand new sauropod and a Triceratops relative I have been looking for for almost 5 years!) and a set of 6 all new DRAGONS!
-
The 2 new dinosaurs (feathered and green sauropod) have a new style of construction in which the body halves are split along the middle of the dinosurs' sides instead of down the middle along the spine/stomach. This allows all of the screws that hold the dinosaurs together to be placed on the underside instead of all on one side. This hides them from casual view unless the figure is flipped over. This is a vast improvement over the older style which left ugly screw holes visible on one side or the other of the dinosaurs (screw holes would be on whatever side of the dinosaur was facing the interior of the box).
The dragons have an entirely solid sonic welded construction which prevents the need for screws leaving the sculpt unmarred from any angle. The sculpts are beautifully rendered and have many different textures across each of the different dragon designs. They have the standard Lontic/Tedco articulation of swivel hips/arms/necks but lack the swivel tails found on the dinosaurs and other animals they produce. They also lack jaw articulation, but that is not surprising based on how small and slim most of the heads are sculpted. In the future, if they make more dragons, I would like to see some beefier headsculpts allowing for jaw articulation and some wing articulation as the wings are static on this first set.
For $13.99 per 6pk, I HIGHLY recommend the dragons. I have 6 sets so far and will probably get more next payday.

Looks like the "Kid Galaxy" branded Lontic/Tedco dragons are also showing up at Marshalls/TJMaxx in 3pks for $12.99 each.
Costco is a MUCH better buy at 6 dragons for $13.99.
