LEGO always has such cool stuff on the shelf. Why can't Hasbro do a fraction of this?

That Micro stuff is too cool. Guess they have an AT-AT now so I am doomed.

Good times. I'm glad we lived in this time to experience something like TRU. Didn't want to make you sad. We were fortunate enough that SmythsToys from Ireland took over all stores from Toys R Us when they went out of business. Good news for the US is that some Macy*s stores host Toys R Us now like this one here in Florida. It's not as big as it used to be, but it still feels authentic. Perhaps yo find one in your area, too!

Agreed, but LEGO's MRSPs are waaaaay too high for their Star Wars sets (and most of the other lines) in my opinion. The latest peek of price hikes can be seen at their 40th Anniversary diorama sets and UCS ones. I mean $850 for an UCS AT-AT? No surprise that Hasbro charge a premium for their HasLabs.

Anyhow I think the die-cast AT-AT will make a good addition to your walker collection! Thanks for commenting.

I wasn't too sad and it passed quickly ;) The Macy's in our area have tiny sections which feel more like one drug store/pharmacy toy aisle than anything resembling a TRU.

Must not get into the Micro Galaxy Stuff. I must not. Daggone it looks good though.

Star Wars toothbrushes made of bamboo. Bamboo is not the best for your toothbrush because it's the perfect  material for bacteria to live on. Like plastic-free packaging this is the wrong place to save plastic.

Jazwares got you covered with loads of accessories for your 4" figures for 15€. Hasbro won't give you so many not even in their so called and overpriced DELUXE figure asst.

Last week they had a special offer on their website and sold this bundle for 569€. Very tempting, but I'm gonna wait 'til December.

Skylanders on clearance for just 1,99€!

And some older LEGO Speed Champions for 16,99€ each. I think by now they cost 19,99€ and 24,99€ MRSP if a mini figure is included. That's probably why Paul Walker and his race car sold right through.

One of my buddies sent me a couple pics today. The new TVC Phase II Clone Trooper flies off the pegs - even for 20,99€!

I have no clue about licensing, but I got the impression that Di$ney didn't take too much fees for their current 100th Anniversary sets from LEGO. The MRSP of 54,99€ seems fair for this house. 22% off taste even better.

After I walked away from the Pokémon figures, a couple my age took my place and emptied an entire peg for their son.

LEGO key-chain minifigs were 2.49€ instead of 3.99€.

I'm both shocked and disgusted by how sugar and fast food are targeted at toddlers:

Philipp you are living in a toy dreamland. Wow.

Like that Starfox ship. I could see that being customized up.

Yes, I do. Part of the reason is that Dresden is the city with most children across Germany! And they are a blessing. I mean children are our future and I wish I'll be a good dad to mine some day.

Inflation! It's everywhere. It's worse than sand & dust. You can watch the prices for groceries climb almost weekly. But also furniture has doubled in price. I remember when those racks were sold for 24,99€ and later put on clearance for 19,99€.

So I went out to look for used furniture. Started my Saturday to take a look inside this warehouse.
Used furniture is now priced at tags that used to hang on new ones!

249,- for this table  with chairs.

Some desks would be nice as work station or suitable for tabletop gaming and dioramas!

Those chests reminded me of JDeck's awesome pirate bar project!

I even found R2-D2 and his droid buddy!

You can see some more inspiring furniture for display here.

Can't complain too much about 2 bucks for a Minion figure.

HotWheels and Matchbox classic 1/64 scale assortment cost 50% more now. Even at a dollar store.

I would've NEVER thought that I could buy a BluRay for less than 2€. Thanks to streaming services!
