How To Make Long Hair On Figures?
« on: September 01, 2011, 05:19:11 PM »
how can I put long hair on figures? do I make it from sculpting putty or cut the hair off of another figure, and how would I go about doing it?

If you have the patience, go to Walmart and find the cross stitch thread section and pick out a color or 2 that you like.  Now, the tedious part is, to make it look as realistic as possible, you need to unravel the thread, since it's braided/twisted with about 6-8 strands in itself.  Unravel it all and then glue it to the head, style as desired.  It's a long, slow process, but looks pretty good when finished.

No problem.  I find, black, various browns, and even reddish brown and honey gold work great for colors.
