If you liked those get ready for this. I had some business in VA yeaterday. That means I am near Hobby Town USA! I picked up 14 bottles of model masters paints. I have been trying out games workshop and MM and decided on MM because of the number of colors available and the fact that I love this paint. Last night I finally got to paint a droid that I have had together for a while and was able to finish it up today. Any one care to help me figure out a name for this guy? I suck at it. haha

Damn, dude, that is a whole 'nother level of cool. I swear, when I saw this, the temp in my house dropped nearly 20 degrees.
I gotta pick up some of that paint. Right now, I'm using Folk Art paint. I think you can get a gallon of it free with the purchase of a gallon of milk at Wal Mart.
I can't offer a name for your droid, but I can ogle it for hours if that counts for something.
Still diggin the shhh outta that background, and this latest effort by you is off tha chart.
Another classic!

lol... @$$-Blasters!!!!   ;D

I couldn't resist.

but man... I love it.  perfect colors, perfect paint apps, perfect... perfect... perfect.  I love that concept boba head on there. It looks perfect as a droid!

I see parts of a BAD, Ig-86, the boba head of course, but is it my imagination or are some of the parts taken from a commando droid?

Oh boy do your customs "rock my boat", you are the Customiser to Watch right now, the sheer variation of creativity is stunning. I also love your images.

Oh and I love the containers and the background piece, the whole ensemble is just off the chart awesome!

Thanks guys and Julian thanks for the seal of approval!

CC, thanks buddy and I agree, that grevious is one of my favorite customs.

Jay, interesting idea, I like it.

Spud, @$$ blasters indeed! I was going for a wild west gun slinger droid. I had never seen a droid with holsters so I came up with this. He is simply HK-47 with IG-86 limbs, HK feet and the Boba head.

Sten buddy that is a great write up for my droid. MC-11D he is. The story is perfect and fits him well so let's go with it. Thanks so much.

Barry thanks my man, glad to bring my cooling effects to you and yours. I have a few projects sitting here ready for paint and refused to do anything until I got the paint I needed. The folk art stuff is ok but nothing compares to the coverage and ease of application like the MM paints, IMO. I will keep the old stuff for weathering and stuff like that.

Thanks Pat you are most helpful. I may take you up on that one day!

The latest droid rocks,  I also use the M paints almost excusivly due to the colors and ease, I love the fact they are pre-thinned and ready for the airbrush to boot
