Not a Diorama. Not a Display Shelf but a simple rack to display the Jabbas Sail barge. With added extensions for Skiffs and a discreet light bar this rack sits on metal shelf brackets that attach to wall mounted rails.
Here's the "Before". The "After" with Modified Barge and Skiffs coming Soon.
Stay Tuned ;D

Looks like solid woodwork - nice!

I love how sturdy this looks. It would have to be to support that bad boy. Definitely want to make sure you get that shelf on a stud when you mount it to the wall. Great to see you woodworking bud.
Off to share.

I started my Mods by making a wire bracket to hold up and show off the front panel.
-
Next I lifted the sails 2.5" with wood sleeves and bent wire.
Finish pics coming soon...Stay Tuned !! ;D

Both mods are just fantastic. Man, great idea raising those sails. Nice Rodger.

The cockpit wire is cool, but lifting the sails is killer! I'd love to see in-progress shots of the lifts; I'm curious how they were made (and how hard it would be to copy).
Very cool!

I'll make some more Lifts and take pics this time. There easy if you have a some sort of chop saw and a router table.

First pics on an actual wall. I see changes needed especially with the lighting. 2.0 will begin soon.

Built mirror brackets today. Now a 360 view.

That’s like icing on the cake, Rodger. Just fabulous!
That last shot.....supremely gobsmackish

That does look great. Wow.

This is taking shape, quickly! Such a smart & noble solution to display this scene! The mirror almost tricked me at first glance. Jabba would be proud and offer you at least 40,000 credits for this masterpiece of art!

Fantastic work and the mods are perfect and I also love the display.
