This line is ALL I wanted as a kid... The Kenner line was cool but it wasn't in scale with my GI-JOE so It was harder to play. I found the figures (human) worked well with the Congo and JP lines but not the aliens.... Obviously.

I really like this newly revealed stuff but these bonus humans are terrible looking bootlegs of bootlegs.

I agree that the humans in this line are lackluster (to put it politely LOL), but the Aliens and the gear are what I am after.

The old Kenner line was great for the Aliens themselves and worked well with "Star Wars" and Joes as the Xenos are supposed to be taller anyway :)

Very true. I just wanted what RE-ACTION has done. The Kenner stuff was cool just too beefy etc... The Predators were soo neat and amazingly detailed but BUFF to the extreme... And I wanted too badly to use them and the Aliens with the Joe's but would give up easily.

I know what your saying about the parts over the figures. Lanard makes some nice accessories, creatures, vehicles, etc. But the figures are used over and over with few being useful after having a dozen of the same kit bashed / repainted stuff. The newer "slim" figures the last few years though have been great, nearly Hasbro-ish joe'$

Not to jack this thread, but I with all the SW knock off I gotta wonder why no one does it with Joes?

In the 80's, Joes had TONS of knock-offs, especially outside the US. Just about every company released a line of "Joe compatible" figures at one point or another. Today, Joe just does not have the popularity for toy companies to bother making knock-offs :(
