Why are left legs so hard to find?

Those astromechs are really nice.

I wish Hasbro would make a wider variety of astromechs.

I really like teh blue/black dome R2

Thanks guys and Jules, yes I painted all of those. I have to tell you I have been practicing painting astros for months now but a little at a time. I am on a roll now because I figured out my own method for getting a proper paint consistency along with stoping the paint crust syndrome I was getting previously. The secret is windex, that is what I am thinning my Model Masters paint with. It also seems to help the paint harden with a gloss to it. Just have a look at my pride and joy...the astro I have been working my way up to is finaly complete after months...

R2-T2

Yes, look again those are BAD parts all repainted. I started with 2 coats of Krylon flat white primer. The dome got a coat of Krylon gloss red then several coats of MM red with windex and white details. The body also got MM white with windex the blue details. The hardest part is getting the consistency just right. Still the results are worth the trial and error to figure it out. So now, I dare to give you the "extreem close up!"

If you can't tell yet I really like this droid. I guess it is the color scheme, he seems to be an all american kind of droid. He is also an intergalactic traveler and was caught by paparatzi on Tatooine .

Dome shot...

Was also caught ridin' dirty with Wedge against the first Death Star.

So where does Hasbros R2 come from? I was less than thrilled with the paint job so I customized my own version on the right.

Now here is a group shot with my latest astro customs.

Now you are thinking, dang Luke what will you be working on next?...

Dude, you cracked me up with that Ridin' dirty reference. All of these droids are beyond factory fresh. Seriously, outstanding paintwork.
Question: How in the heck did you get those lines on whistler's dome so freakin straight? For real, what the skinny? I have myself struggled with this riddle for years.
Please shed some light, bro.
