« Last post by The Spectre on April 20, 2024, 05:04:09 PM »New Kid Galaxy "Dinosaurs Attack" 4pks have been spotted at the TJMaxx in Saddlebrook, NJ!
They are a mix of 4 previously released molds and 4 brand new molds.
The set in the first image has 3 re-released dinosaurs with only 1 new mold, the yellowish Dimetrodon on the far right.
The set in the second image only has 1 re-released dino (Dilophosaurus) and 3 brand new molds including a relative of the Ankylosaurs, my favorite dinosaur of all time.
Like the previous sets, the paint on these figures is REALLY rough. Paint is basically just splattered onto each figure rather sloppily, so collectors will need to repaint them before they are display worthy.
These sets retail for $12.99 each, making each individual dinosaur approximately $3.25 each, not a bad price for an articulated dinosaur action figure. I passed on them for now, but that Ankylo relative is really tempting...

« Last post by The Spectre on April 20, 2024, 04:16:20 PM »Hit up Burlington looking for more "Halo" mechs (no luck) and found this brand new 2024 "Jurassic World" 12" basic dinosaur for $3.99 (regularly $10.99-$11.99). There are 2 new dinos (2nd pic) and 2 repacks. They only had the Suchomimus and a repacked Dilophosaurus which I passed on.
These 12" basic dinos are species that are available in other sizes in the main line, but I like getting the assorted sizes as they look cool in group shots and represent others of the same species that are younger/older.

« Last post by darthdaddy on April 20, 2024, 09:55:02 AM »We recently received a really awesome gift box in the mail from our good friend and fellow artist Peak-OB1 Custom Creations that included an amazingly cool green resin print of Mother Talzin's Sword that inspired the below custom. We had a spare Morgan Elsbeth TVC action figure on an extremely damaged card (Thanks to Amazon's horrible practice of shipping collectibles in paper envelopes! WTH!). All we had to was break out our paintbrushes and get crackin'!
I based her face, neck, and hands in Reaper's Elf Flesh paint, and then used Caucasian Flesh as a medium tone. I generously highlighted with Maiden Flesh to give her that pale Nightsister look. I painted her tattoos with Reaper's Ashen brown, and mixed in some black to make the shaded areas pop.
