So, you want to know about Funeral Pyre Darth Vader, right? Per a very reliable Hasbro employee, Funeral Pyre Darth Vader has not been pitched to a retailer yet. Hasbro is looking to set this beautiful piece around $30.00, but they want to know what kind of interest collector support will be for it first. They will most likely be polling collector sites, like Jedi Temple Archives, to be gauging this. At best it will be a very late 2010 item, if not a 2011 item. So, start gearing up your support now! We will keep you posted on its progression. And stay tuned, we have a video forthcoming that will be posted on our site as well!

I sure hope they query the Yards on this. I love the sound of it even if it is a little morbid.

If you look at the extreme right side of SuperheroHype's pic, you'll see the right side of a Bespin Security Guard!!  DadGUM but can I call them or what!!   And JTA's photo shows black and white variants.  YES!!!  And the Stormie w/ removeable armor - that's Han Solo underneath.  You can see his black vest under the right shoulder of the armor and inside the collar area.  Plus, those too-short sleeves and the boots help give it away...  Then the JediTempleArchives has a photo that *tags* it as such.

Holy sweetness... Slave Leia with soft-goods skirt - better articulation?  We'll see.  Lotta good-lookin figures in that display!!

Wonder when the "Malasian Connection" will have them up on ebay?

looks to me like there is a joint at the elbow and a swing joint above the elbow.
The helmet looks slightly different as does his airbox. Could he be super arty with a removable helmet??? I am digging the new Cody sculpt also

Doubt he is removeable or they probably would have shown us, but I do think it might be slightly different.

You can see the knee artic on the ATAT driver, too.

DAMN!!  It looks like Hasbro listened to our comments/complaints/gripes/wishes on basic figure design!  Even the chicks with bare arms have articulation on par with everyone else!

I know they have a CW version, but if this is the guy it would give confirmation that Hasbro is indeed making Legacy figures of the Clone Wars characters. Bring on the Clones if that is the case. I can smell a Hasbro question for next round.

And yes Doc, I am starting to believe you now. That atat driver, for me, is the best thing so far. I just hope it means they will be making a nice huge four legged vehicle for this guy. Did anyone notice the walker footage on the upper rectangle sections on the SW Pavilion? Hmmm.....fingers crossed. We will find out tomorrow.

Oh, almost forgot. Supposedly Hasbro today confirmed there will be a Celebration V next year. They later ammended thier web page, but it seems SDCC will give some info on that too. I am crossing my fingers for Baltimore, but doubt it will be there.

Shredder, yeah I can see that.  Very "heavy Samurai" look to those McQuarrie concept-arts for them.  I'm looking forward to most of those figs - in MULTIPLES!!

I gotta agree!  And most of them - from what I can see - are nicely articulated; ie: ball shoulders, elbows, and knees and ball-post heads.  Looks like a good year to spend a lot of money on figs!!

I am loving the new TESB wave. Loving it, I will buy every atat driver I find. Every one! I have a dozen saga2 versions that were just made obselete today. I did notice that atst looks like it comes in two decos, one TESB and one Endor I am hoping. I know we never saw that ship on Tatooine, but it sure looks like a sandy paint job to me. Still, I will have at least one, you guys know me. I didn't know Starwarsshop was carrying the hasbro panel too. Cool stuff Clint.

By the way, Jeditemplearchives, who carried the live broadcast of the hasbro panel today, is allowing us the use of said video. It is up now on the front page. It is kinda neat to hear the hasbro folks talk about the items. They also hinted about some fabulous TESB offerings for the anniversary year.
