soooo who's done with their Christmas shopping?   

who still has gifts left to buy but they've made progress?

and who hasn't even started yet?




I still have some stuff to buy yet for various people but at least I'm not way behind on the gift shopping this year.  I tell ya what, I can't f'ing believe Christmas is only nearly a month away.  Jesus, where did 2009 go?

Not only am I more than half done, Nfc, but due to the parents going out of town for the winter, we had our Christmas with them early and half my gifts have already been givin.
It feels good getting that much of it out of the way but was a bit hectic picking of all up that early.

FOr me, I have a lot of gifts for my kids, most of my friends that live around here, and I've got both my secret santas stuff done(second one is getting mailed monday).  I just need a neat gift for my wife, my step dad, my father and his wife,  yada yada, then I'll be done, :)

Well, not much Christmas shopping for me to do, as I'm not the parental figure of the family, but I might pick my brother and parents up something once I find out what they want.

and send me your address too since everytime I ask for it, I never get the address in response.  I can't mail the walker till I have that.

who likes it?  who doesn't?   who actually likes it but knows they'll end up loathing it by the time the shinny happy day is actually here?   who doesn't care in the least or even celebrate christmas at all?

I love it early on, like the first couple weeks after TG, but over exposure in the 30 days before the actual day its observed, where you can't go anywhere or turn on the TV or radio without hearing it, will inevitably have me looking forward to to the 26th or 27th when it will finally stop and I can say "ahhh, only 11 more months until the hubbub starts up all over again"

I personally hate that Christmas has been turned into a consumer fest/greed workshop.  But, now we have kids, so our challenge is to give the kids a good Christmas without turning them into little give me give me jerks.

I like Christmas music ok, my favorite right now is Joseph's lullabye, I'll be honest, it really gets to me, especially when he wants just one night for his kid to just be a little boy, :(

dang it, now I gotta go man up my life to make up for this teary moment, :)

I forgot this was here till the other day when I was looking all over the forum for my post about about the radio shows and I discovered it was in a one my blogs, not in one of the SW discussion boards.  ^-^   :o

I second that sentiment. 2009 had it's good points as far as interesting media and toys but other than that, bleah.
