I saw this over at Yakface.com and figured some folks here might like to see this. The pictures are linked to the EW Article:

It looks like this whole dio is arranged to work with last year's set up too. Oh the pain from having to deal with HTS again!
-
Crumb looks as if rigor has set in
-
hmm....got a friend going to the comic con...hopefully he can snag me one.
-
Yeah, with only the pipe thingy and Salacious as the exclusive I may just hold out on this one. If it came with the dais like it was supposed to I might have bit.
-
That IS a phenomenal headsculpt. For whatever reason, most of the Jabba figures out look wrong in the face.

Hasbro sent us the larger higher resolution images for this offering today!

Robot Kingdom has this Exclusive set sans SDCC Sticker for $79.90, much more reasonable if you have to have it

Ah... so the hooka pipe and Salacious Crumb are what makes this the exclusive version? DorksideToys has the single Jabba for $39.... so that's a lot of money for a stiff lizard monkey (totally agree with your statement, Clint!) and a waterpipe....
While I'm rearranging my man cave, I come across old friends. One of them my 30 year old Kenner Jabba the Hutt with hooka, Crumb, neck chain and a dais that also functions as a prison! Now, I know, we're talking about the 6" Jabba here, but come on.... at least put meaning to the word 'exclusive', Hasbro! Boschka!
-
Yeah, I don't really see me being too disappointed if I don't get one of these. Next year this time you will see em being sold more reasonably like the SDCC Boba is now. All we have to have is patience. Of course everyone knows how patient I am!
-
Being 6" keeps my wallet from getn thinner. Cool to look at the pics though. :D

I hear ya. Not only is it a matter of money, but of space as well. Not all of us have the same space available as Mr. Sansweet :)

I saw that and have been meaning to post about it. Maybe after I am able to find one of these!
-
Well this came and went quicly this morning on Hasbro Toy Shop. I ordered mine and then started spreading the word. I hope you saw it at one of our venues.
-
did anyone have any luck on the second go around for this guy? i actually cancelled my order and have not seen it back up for sale again yet. I'm waiting to see if a different item is coming back in stock.

You were able to get in an order for this and cancelled it? I will be honest, I have never been able to get in on a second offer on an SDCC Exclusive and have not really seen them offer up a second chance most of the time. I am not saying they won't do it as I know one time they did because when they limited orders to one some folks did double orders and were kicked out so they offered it up again. I also see this is being offered at a convention overseas so it could go on sale at the Toy Shop again after that con is over, but I wouldn't hold my breath.
-
yeah i had to cancel, the cost of shipping and tax came to about $81.00. I saw it on ebay for 59.99 plus shipping and figured if I really want one the price would be comparable as the prices were dropping on ebay.

Wow, that is cheaper than they were able to buy it for. I have seen this price come down drastically on eBay though. It is great folks will be able to get one that wants it.

The exclusive Jabba the Hutt is back in stock on hasbrotoyshop.com today is thursday 8:33 am pacific time August 14, 2014

Thanks for the heads up I hope folks were able to get one that didn't the first go round.
I got mine in the mail yesterday. Packaged pretty good for the most part, but don't expect to get the boxes totally pristine. Each one I got had some spots on it. Not much, but they used much thinner cardboard material than they did on the SDCC Fett and Han in Carbonite.
