I scored this pack a week ago from my local TRU; it took my breath away when I found it... :D
From the packaging: "Delta Squad is a specialized group of highly trained clone troopers who fight the battle droid army during the Clone Wars in Star Wars: Republic Commando Video Game. Clone trooper Boss is the taciturn leader of Delta Squad. Clone trooper Scorch is the wisecracking demolitions expert. the squad's hunter and marksman is clone trooper Sev. Clone trooper Fixer supports the team as a technical expert and computer hacker." This pack came with the four afforementioned members of Delta, and a Geonosian (not to be reviewed, here, sorry...). The figures are, as stated, based off of the characters from the 2005 hit game, and Karen Traviss' novel series of the same title.
The figures include backpacks, which slide into a small hole on their back with a peg and DC-17s Blasters, one rocking a grenade launcher attachment (Scorch's). Before I get down to the finer changes I'd noticed, let's talk articulation: each of the figures is made from the same basic parts. This would include ball-jointed head, shoulders, arms, torso, knees, and ankles, as well swivel-jointed wrists and hips. (It's one of those figures you can turn 360 degrees at the waist, and bend forward and backward, like a VC AOTC Clone.)
To address some of the finer changes, I noticed a different design between that of the older Commandos, including the recently released Fi Skirata, and Delta, on their lower torso. This might mean a new sculpt for the Commando figures, or simply just a different engraving. All the legs are new sculpts, and sadly, thinner too... :-\ I don't think Hasbro was going for a CW look with that, but it's there, in my mind. You can see the difference in the Scorch comparison pic, whereas the newer figure is missing the little explosive pack on his hip, and with it, the supporting bands. The helmets look to be the same, as do the lower legs, and arms as a whole. The accessories are, as well, the old sculpts. One thing I noticed missing on the Sniper, Sev, is that little leg piece/computer. I found that odd, as it was included just recently on the Fi Skirata figure from the Commando Evolutions pack...
The head pegs are the same as on the last figure. I experimented with a theory of mine, and proved it to be true; the AOTC (non-removable helmet) clones have the same basic size neck, and thus, the same basic size helmet hole. They're stiff if left as is, but with a little dremel work, you could easily put an AOTC helmet on a Commando body, or vice-versa.
Overall, these figures were a step down from the older commandos, but still a pretty great pack... They're great fodder, as Commandos are tough to come by cheap in today's world (I'm not saying $39.99 is cheap, but it is cheaper than what most would charge for four commandos).
Would I recommend: If you don't have Delta, yes; for fodder, maybe.
(And, apologies if this review is a bit "amateur"; it's my first, so, if there's anything you'd like changed, or added to, please don't hesitate to ask.)

Just lucky I had the Scorch and Fi to do the comparison pics, lol. Glad I could help.

Got 2 sets of these guys. They're great! Next year hopefully when funds are high, I'll be learning to mold/cast as well as Clonehead. And these guys are gonna be on my top to do list. I'm think of making the lower and Upper torsos soft plastic so I can apply the joints easy. That's what I'm planning to do with my base clone that's a modified VC45 with new additions that people complained about.

Very wise. I know when these guys are gone, I'll be wishing I'd gotten more of them.

Oh, those guys are my, "Staff Collection" customs. They're just repainted stormy figs. I think that's probably the most envious comment I've gotten in regards to one of my customs, so thank you, highly.

informative review...now i kinda wish i had bought a couple packs of these. Sadly, these days i am a Clone Wars only collector. I wish hasbro had released some CWAnimated style commandos...they were in an episode (briefly).

I was a tad dissapointed that they only had about a minute air-time, but at least those at Lucasarts hadn't forgotten (shunned) them. It would be neat to see a CW style set, too, or at least see them in the TV series a bit more.

Nice review I was actually going to pick these guys up but they did go for a lot of money.
