I apologize if this has been posted already, but does anyone out there make canopies (cockpits) for Star Wars vehicles? I've seen repro missles, landing gear, accessories, weapons and body parts...but no canopies. Is it even possible due to them being clear? Any help would be appreciated. I was at a 'Con recently and the canopies were more expensive (4x as much!) as some of the ships themselves. As an examlpe: I paid $3 for a vintage Y-Wing core, and $12 for the canopy by itself.
I'd love to customize more vehicles, but it's hard to find canopies! I'd rather support a fellow customizer who can make the parts than pay a dealer. Thanks!

Since you are customizing use erg and clear styrene to make your own canopies

I have yet to find a product that gives me a satisfactory clear product. My advice is that of Bobby - clear sheet styrene and build it yourself for those parts with flat surfaces.

I've seen some repro X Wing canopies in the past - but nothing for other ships
