That group shot is awesome. Nice markings on the tank.

HA! for being smudged perm. marker that looks 100 times better than I expected it would.  Had you said that without showing me pictures I'd have thought it'd be horrible...

Only thing I'd recomend is to tighten up your writing a little better, and do it in aurubesh to make it more accurate.

Good job! I like it. Lot of Fighter Tanks making their way onto the board and I think that's a good thing !!=)

Why go through life base fig, when you can customize?

my bad.... honestly I've never tried using the paint pens.  I've always meant to pick a few up for doing fine details.

I use the paint pens at work alot for marking equipment... but never had much luck using them for customs...
they rub off too easily and are hard to use getting nice results....
should have thought of the weathering use with as much apply, rub off and repeat as I have done....
Great looking effect and nicely done.

one way to preserve it would be spray over the entire finished vehicle/figure with a clear coat of spray paint

Looks nice!  Gives it that attitude that many Battalions have in wartime!

I like the blue marks you gave him

and  your weathering-technique is also very cool
