Title: SDCC 2014 News and Reveals

Please, if coming from another source, please give credit to the site or source where you found the original information. Its just considered the right thing to do.

First off for me, I got an email from VANS ( seem like a kind of action sports (skateboarding) apparel company that is making some awesome shoes, shirts, posters, etc.

I also noticed something a little disturbing about that new TIE for the Sith Inquisitor:

See the hot glue they used on the lower left wing where the solar panel hinges? That sure doesn't look strong enough does it!

They probably broke the display model. I have seen this type of quick fix before in person at several cons.

Post by: Tamer on July 24, 2014, 04:59:52 AM: Dan, thats what I am worried about. I know sometimes when boxes get shipped things get broken, but lets face it, for the stuff they use for con display they are usually pretty careful with it especially if its in the proto stage.

This, I think, was definitely not. Still, it seems to me that is a place where this could break rather easily with even moderate play. I mean these are all supposed to be for kids right? ;D

ToysRUs has listed their exclusives up for pre-order already. Probably the best set so far is the Danger at the Docks Set and it is still in stock. I passed on the Cantina Showdown, but its there too.

If you missed it thats the Star Wars Hasbro Presentation as it happened live. These were images from Galactic Hunter.com cropped to fit the full screen. They did a nice job getting each slide from what I can see.

They are first doing up a one to seven scale TESB Vader that looks like his 1/10 counterpart, but this one has working lights and sounds:

And I am guessing you won't. I think they thought we might be more excited by that new Hero Falcon and the newer Hoth Type 6" inch Figures.

Frankly, I am a little disappointed we didn't' see at least one more wave of 3 and 3/4 inch for the Black Series.

Our site reporter snapped some images of the Hasbro Booth while he was waiting to ask our questions. These are huge in size folks (when you double click).
