Title: Duel on Mustafar

Ok, in the planning stages of my next dio scene. The basic idea is the lightsaber duel between obi-wan and vader in the lava flow.  Will just adding some info as it has been updated.

Well the process has started. Got the bottem cut out of foamcore. Cut and glued the floral foam onto the base. Ran out of time for the night. Next step will be to put the Easy Rock compound on to give it texture, let dry for a couple of days, then paint it. Next step will to to hot glue on the repulsor lift and panning droid. The final steps will be to cut out the sides from foamcore, glue on the background and hot glue onto the base. Already got the next dio on the back burner.
Ok, you wanted some pics here are few. First one is of the foam glued to the base. Second is the Easy Rock on the foam. The third is of obi wan on the repulsor lift. Hard to see any detail on the lava flow with it being white, it shows up better painted.

Tonight I hot glued to figures onto the base.  The next step will be to cut out the backboards out of foam core and print out some background and glue them on.

yeah you sure did make me curious with the gen. mcquarrie purchases today. Go get em. I love seeing these dios. It must be nice to be creative.

Your on the right track.  Ok I'll let the cat of the bag.  It is going to be the Hoth Rebel Command Center, or part of it.  Will have a couple of gen mcquarries, rieekan, derlin, maybe a couple of hoth soldiers and leia, not really to impressed with the scuplts and poses of the last 2, but will we see.

Sorry again guys.  I just couldn't get vader to stand on the panning droid and have everything stay upright.

This is a very unusual dio, just by going on the first images you are definitely making something very exciting. I am intrigued on how it's going to look when finished.
