I worked on a non-Star Wars custom the other day, figured I'd post it here seeing there's a section for non-Star Wars customs. There probably won't be many customs here though. This is my first custom outside of Star Wars. The figure I customized is one of those old Mario PVC figures from around 1989. They feel like its wax so it was a bit harder to do compared to the action fleets I've customized.
Here's the original figure. It's supposed to be Mario with a fireball. Even as a kid I noticed he wasn't wearing his "Fire Mario" clothes (white hat/shirt, red overalls) and it always bothered me for some reason.

Oh yeah, had to be the white shirt!

I was debating, either the white shirt/red overalls, or red shirt/white overalls combo, but seeing the white shirt/red overalls combo is most recent and more common (since Super Mario World) I went with that. Plus it was less to paint. ;)
