Wow, what a great vintage collection. I need to get some of this on the front page. Once again, welcome!

Here are some pictures of my display case. I did a total restoration on it, plus had new glass cut to replace a few broken pieces. I also added 12 small casters underneath to move it away from the wall for loading access and I made the 3 brackets for the bottom glass shelf.

Wow, I think this is great. I have been known to delve into custom display cabinetry myself. I like how you used mostly glass in this. I just spent over two hundred on some tempered glass pieces myself so I know it ain't cheap. Excellent restoration.

Thanks for all the compliments. My dad and I also added the aluminum channel and corners. It wasn't cheap, but it beat the price of a new case.

WOW awesome collection and what a cool case.

I am really feeling the Vintage and Hasbro 12-inches.
They really look cool together like that.
Damn now I need a Kenner 12-inch Vader, Fett, and the droids!

Also really loving the Megos... I was obsessed with Megos when I was a teen in the early 90s and no one cared.  I was too young for them as a kid and you could find great deals at flea markets and garage sales when I was a teenager.  I had a giant collection collection of boxed and carded I scored for a song.  My boxed WGSH figures i got them all for 3 for $5!  I wish I had them now :(

Hey, I know it's not Star Wars... but what is the deal with the Star Trek Megos you have?  It looks like you have a few I didn't have back in the day, including that sweet, sweet captain's chair.  Customs, or recent foreign finds?  I have been long out of the Mego game (beyond the 3-3/4inch stuff I still collect those when I can) Any info?

Thanks.

The Captain's chair is by PlayMates that come with a 9" Kirk. Since Mego is 8", it's close enough to work. Some of the Treks are from Diamond Select. The customs have resin heads, hand painted by someone else. I still have more Megos to add to the case, the entire display is a work in progress.
