My Star Wars Christmas presents
« on: December 25, 2010, 06:03:16 AM »
In Germany Santa comes in the afternoon and evening of the 24th.

My Christmas presents were almost all Star Wars this year: I got a full squad of Snowtroopers to go with the AT-AT I got earlier this year and the best thing is that their leader is a custom Captain Rex. Not the Snow Ops Rex you can buy at the store, but a real custom figure. How cool is that? I also got a pilot Luke along with my Snowtrooper squad.

I also got these two sets of LEGO Star Wars: the new Clonetrooper battlepack and the also new Mandalorian battlepack. Officially they are not in the stores yet but hey, I got them. There are 4 figures in each pack. The Clones also come with a BARC speeder, the Mandos with a smaller speeder, a rotating blaster cannon and a repeating blaster on a bi-pod.
If you like LEGO Star Wars, you will love these. They are soooo cool.

Merry Christmas to you all!

They are not supposed to be available until end of January or early February 2011 and I have no idea how Santa got them for me, but they are really cool.
I will save my pocket money to get some more once they are in the store.

The other day I noted that the Pilot Luke I also got for Christmas had two left hands.
Really.

Dad said he would fix that for me and he did it today.
He took the brown gloves from an Arctic Snake Eyes GI Joe figure, cut off the wrist nubs from the Snake Eyes and the Luke, exchanged them and glued them in place so that the Snake Eyes gloves fit my Luke.
Then he took off Luke's head, enlarged the hole in a Vintage Bespin Luke head and put the Bespin Luke head on my Pilot Luke.

So Pilot Luke is a custom now, too.
Cool.

Very nice fix here. I too have been looking at Luke heads to figure out what one I want to use for this same purpose. I think you have found it!
